John Wick lowered his hand, never expecting to see such a frantic Tony.

Chen Ye didn't understand Tony's urgency. After all, so much time had passed. He wasn't withholding the truth; he could have just explained it over the phone.
Chen Ye thought about how in his past life, Tony had learned the truth but still spared the Winter Soldier. Now that Uncle Kingpin had already eliminated the Winter Soldier, Tony should be thanking him.
Tony stared at Chen Ye, who was calmly sipping tea, and desperately wanted to put a gun to his head and force him to spill the beans.

Tony was stunned by the news, and a strange sense of disappointment washed over him. His rage and impulsiveness felt like a flame suddenly extinguished, leaving him cold.
The killer he had been searching for was already dead.
His fury, his drive, had lost its target.
Confused, Tony looked at Chen Ye, wanting to know the full story.
Chen Ye began to recount the entire incident in detail, starting with the Winter Soldier's attack on the Kingpin family, the revelation of the Winter Soldier's identity, and finally, the truth behind his parents' murders.
He described every detail as clearly and accurately as possible.
After hearing the whole truth, Tony looked at Chen Ye with a mix of skepticism and shock.
He never imagined the truth behind his parents' deaths would be like this. A part of him still doubted. Until he saw the evidence with his own eyes, Tony wouldn't fully accept the truth.
But Tony also believed Chen Ye wouldn't joke with him. What shocked him was that Chen Ye knew things even his own son didn't, as if nothing in Chen Ye's world was beyond his knowledge.
Staring at Chen Ye, Tony was filled with confusion and awe. He couldn't understand why Chen Ye knew so much about his parents, things even he, their son, was completely unaware of.
It felt as if nothing in Chen Ye's world was beyond his knowledge, leaving Tony with a deep sense of frustration.
Chen Ye smiled mysteriously at Tony. *You think you can keep up with me? Should I tell you I'm a transmigrator who knows everything?*
Seeing Chen Ye's infuriating grin, Tony was about to lose his temper. But then he suddenly remembered something that made him feel he could regain the upper hand.
A cunning smile spread across Tony's face as he said to Chen Ye, "There's one thing you definitely don't know."
Chen Ye looked at Tony, his eyes filled with curiosity.
He wondered what Tony was so eager to tell him. Could there be something he didn't already know? Tony grinned triumphantly. "Guess what I saw at S.H.I.E.L.D. today?"
He deliberately paused, wanting to see Chen Ye's eyes light up with anticipation and curiosity. Tony planned to tell him about the Avengers, confident that Chen Ye wouldn't know Nick Fury had assembled such a team.
Chen Ye instantly realized Tony had been invited to join the Avengers by Black Egghead today. Knowing Tony's personality, he understood this was his way of feeling slighted and wanting to regain some face.
Showing no surprise or curiosity, Chen Ye simply said, "The Avengers."
Tony's pupils dilated instantly. He hadn't expected Chen Ye to even know about the Avengers organization. This left him feeling both astonished and defeated, as if he were a clown in front of Chen Ye.
However, Tony didn't show it. He stood up and bid Chen Ye farewell. "I need to go back and gather evidence. If it's true, I'll send the bastards who tried to cover it up to hell one by one."

At the Avengers Compound, Nick Fury was chatting casually with the team members.
Agent Coulson approached Fury with a grave expression and whispered something in his ear.
The Avengers didn't hear what Coulson said, but they saw Fury's face suddenly darken.

He couldn't wait to find Bucky, completely oblivious to Black Egghead's solemn expression.
Steve excitedly grabbed Black Egghead's shoulders, urgently asking, "Where is Bucky? Is he doing well?"
His eyes sparkled with anticipation and hope, as if just hearing the good news would instantly reunite him with Bucky.
However, Black Egghead looked at the exhilarated Steve and slowly said, "Steve, calm down. I'm sorry to tell you, Bucky is dead."
The words struck Steve like a bolt from the blue, instantly shattering his hope.
The smile that had just lit up his face vanished, replaced by shock and anguish.
He couldn't accept this truth. He couldn't believe that Bucky, his constant comrade in arms, would just leave him like this.
"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
Steve's voice trembled with pain and despair, his body shaking slightly.
