The crowd started whispering right away.
"What? What is she even saying?"
"Is she crazy? Who says something like that in a speech?"
"Hmph, so arrogant. Does she think she's a god or something?"
"That's why nobles are evil. They always think they're better than everyone!"
"Are these people even human?"
The murmurs grew louder and angrier. Some nobles just frowned, but most commoners in the back were shaking their heads in displeasure.
Rosalina didn't care.
She kept the same cool, proud face the whole time, like she was above it all. Chin high, eyes half-closed, tiny smirk still on her lips.
"That is all," she said calmly.
Then she turned and walked back toward the curtain, heels clicking like she owned the whole stage.
Julius was already waiting there. He clapped loudly the second she stepped through.
"Well done, my lady!" he said with a big grin.
"I didn't know you could look even more beautiful while saying such bold things."
