Without wasting a second, he charged forward behind the Lightning Bear, using the beast as the spearhead of his assault.

With a swift leap, he landed upon the back of the Slime Eagle.
The creature spread its watery wings and shot into the air, carrying him above the battlefield. Wind swept through James's hair as mana gathered around his hands.

Sharp streams of condensed water solidified into deadly projectiles before hurtling downward toward Kyle and the Lightning Bear. The sky above the arena quickly filled with dozens of glistening blue spears.
At the same time, the Slime Eagle opened its beak.
