Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

One summer day, a crow was very thirsty and was flying here and there in search of water [1]. Finding no water anywhere, he became tired. Finally, he saw a pitcher in a garden [1, 2].

The crow quickly flew to the pitcher. But the pitcher had a narrow neck and there was very little water inside [2]. The crow's beak could not reach the water. He was disappointed, but he did not give up [1, 2].

He started thinking about how to drink water. Suddenly, an idea came to his mind [1]. He picked up the small pebbles lying around the pitcher and started throwing them into the pitcher [3].

After throwing many stones, one or two at a time, the water at the bottom of the pitcher slowly rose to the top [3]. When the water rose to the top, the crow drank its fill and quenched its thirst [3].

Moral of the story: Where there is a will, there is a way, and intelligence and patience help solve difficult problems [6].
