After Luicien had parked up his motorbike, he checked the time on his digital phone. All he had to do was tap his finger on his wrist twice and a little digital like screen appeared in the air. He moved the screen closer to his face and saw that the time was 8:20.
"Damn it, I cant get my coffee as we only have 10 minutes until our sections meeting".
Mika started to giggle which turned into laugher.
"Pfft, that's what you get for not planning ahead Luicien".
Luicien raised his middle finger, not even replying to what Mika had said but instead walking up the gates.
Luicien was officially in a grumpy mood.
his hand reached into his bag and pulled out a small card, which was his ID for the building and scanned it allowing him access, Mika followed his lead and did the same. The magic corporation was split into four separate buildings all for different purposes. Luicien and Mika had to go to the far back left where their section was based, usually they had some sort of meeting or had other means to be informed of what their missions were.
walking in silence for 5 minutes, really made it feel longer for Mika who was already an awkward person to begin with.
His always like this, in fact I think his been like this for as long as I've known him.
Mika thought to himself while making a pouty face with his lips.
The room that they entered, was already filled with at least 20 other people which was double what their group normally was.
Luicien didn't really care, the lack of food and coffee caused him to be in a distant mood. But Mika looked at all the faces he didn't know.
what the hell is happening here? Something big has to be going down.
Before he could think anymore into it, a familiar voice started to call over to him.
"Luicien, Mika over here guys".
He looked over to see a familiar dark blue spikey hair and would recognize those hazelnut eyes anywhere. Noah was there calling them over and with him was Lillican.
Mika and Luicien went over and sat with them and of coures Luicien sat with his arms crossed.
"Hey guys, why are there all these extra memebers here?".
Said Mika while taking a seat.
Noah shrugged his shoulders.
"me, Lillican and Lavender arent sure, we havent been told anything since we got here".
Mika gave a sigh.
"What a pain, even more people".
Said Mika in a defeated voice.
Lavender who had rose gold hair in a bun that looked like a rose, along with lime coloured eyes, some people have described her as having a 'heavenly' appearance. She was sat on the other side of Lillican, looking down toward Luicien and Mika.
"What's wrong with Luicien? He looks like the world is going to end".
Before anyone could respond, the person whose at the front of this room behind a stand of some sort made a loud coughing sound as to get everyone's attention. He seemed to be in his 30's, with hair that represented a forest and crimson red eyes which look like that could strike fear into everyone.
"ATTENTION TROOPS!".
He said loud enough to bring down the building, (talk about loud).
The moment he said this, three other people entered the room catching the attention of the entire room. A women who also looked as if she were in her 30's, having auburn hair which was neat as well as striking yellow eyes. Following her was a woman in a uniform cloak. Luicien analysed her.
Lilac hair? wait that's Diana, the hell she doing here? The M on her cloak has two square around it, she's a squad leader... great...
There was another figure walking by Diana, who also had a cloak that had a M standing for mage unlike the S on Luicien and Mika's uniform which stood for solider. Just like Diana's this person had two squares around the M, but they had their cloak hood up which means their face wasn't visible.
They seem rather familiar, it feels as if I know who they are. Could it be that I've met this person before? Could it be...
Thought Luicien as he looked this person up and down.
The three of them approached the front.
"Commander Serb, how have you been old friend".
The women with auburn hair said to the man who was already at the front, going in for a shake at the hands.
Commander Serb responded by shaking her hand.
"Commander Sterile, its been a while". He responded in a friendly tone.
Mika was a tad bit dumbfounded. Two Commanders in the same room, that's a rare sight.
Commander Serb faced everyone else in the room.
"I think you've all have noticed that we have two sections within this room, but this was certainly not by accident. Commander Sterile if you will".
Commander Sterile stepped forward.
"Thank you, commander Serb. I know many of you are use to solo missions or even as pairs, maybe even a small groups of you handling relativity easy missions. But the six captains aka the most powerful of the magic corporation, have their hands full, meaning harder missions will be given to members such as yourselves".
Her posture and voice were one of power, she then coughed to clear her throat.
"A high-level type of soulless one has been sighted at the ruins of the jungle forest, that's why we need this entire room to handle this as this poses a danger to the civilians local to that area. Fear not though, here at the front we have Squad leader Diana Aspin and next to her is squad leader Victoria Osuna".
Luiciens eyes lit up for a moment. Wait Victoria?!
The hooded figure drew their hands up to their hood and pulled it down, revealing wavy dark brown hair and soft tanned skin. There stood squad leader Victoria Osuna.
