The system , despite it's simplicity , still had one particularly useful and important function which Riley was honestly very grateful for.
It allowed Riley to keep track of how nearly any and all of his rewards was developing. It was sort of like an Innate status check whereby Riley briefly got a sense of what exactly is happening in his body between any integrated rewards.
And right now , he could feel that the Mutated Kryptonian bloodline had resonated and fused with the Ourobos constellation essence so he had officially evolved into a Divine Serpentine Kryptonian or something like that.
'Huh , that's not such a bad name. I think I might stick with that as my race because I honestly doubt I even have any human genes left in me anymore.'
So his current scaled and pale skinned form with sharp upper and lower fangs was his true form and he now had to either use his Divine abilities to shapeshift into a human or learn magic and disguise himself.
Honestly , it was a plus in Rey's book because he looked equal parts cool , intimidating and mythical. Sort of like a Dragon that had taken a human form but had no horns , wings or a tail.
The evolution wasn't all looks though , and Riley soon realized that after testing his physical capabilities on the new dummies.
Standing in the middle of an encirclement of nine level 3 training dummies , Riley took a deep breathe and willed the dummies to attack.
With the speed of a race car rushing down a track he blurred forward sending cracks through the ground then slammed his fist right into one of the dummies legs.
The first punch was followed up by a quick uppercut to its groin area which launched the puppet up and smacked it hard against the training hall walls with a loud resounding thump and crack.
The other dummies immediately shot towards him , but with Riley's current speed and perception they might as well have been jogging to him.
Riley did a flip through the air and shifted to female mid movement before landing on another dummies head with her full force which sent cracks webbing through its frame.
A frown could be seen on her face however as she had noticed something strange. The force of her attacks , as well as the powerful strength in her muscles had lessened.
Based on her enhanced mind's understanding , if at first she could lift 60 tonnes casually , then , now as a girl , he could still lift the 60 tonnes but would now genuinely struggle.
'So I'm physically weaker as a girl , is there some kind of mechanic to it or this is just natural.'
Riley's thoughts were interrupted by the puppets attacking again with fists that carried almost 8 tonnes of force behind them.
She was no longer in the mood to spar though and just wanted to study this change more , so Riley made finger guns and aimed at the dummies before shooting beams of compressed light at them.
With Riley's insane speed , she bombarded the whole group of Dummies in seconds but unexpectedly , her attack also burnt holes right through them while launching them back a couple of metres.
'Seems like the light I can control and produce grew stronger , far stronger.'
By this time a theory was forming in Riley's mind but she had to first be sure of it so she willed the dummies to repair themselves and return to their storage while sitting down to meditate.
First Riley shifted back to male and then focused on sensing and manipulating his Divine energy out of his body.
As usual Riley , felt the considerably potent and abundant Divine energy respond to him with a steady but ultimately slow crawl. He tried his magical energy but it was the same result once again.
The difference came when Riley shifted to female. Almost immediately she tried to sense the Divine energy , it had reacted and flowed in tandem with her will albeit with a slight lag.
Even her magical energy flowed much more naturally in this form , and both magic and Divinity seemed enhanced and strengthened slightly. The surprises did not end there and it seemed there was even more.
Riley could sense the solar energy in her body as well. This power seemed to be the reason for her abundant and potent Divine energy since it had a multiplication and purification effect on the Divine energy and seemed to almost be fueling it's growth.
Basically , her Divine power was growing stronger and more purified the more sunlight she absorbed.
'As expected of the Kryptonian genes , truly unmatched no matter where it is.'
Riley was smiling as she turned her attention to the magical energy that she was releasing from her body like a storm. Her magic manifested as Pale gold and green undulating energy and right now , Riley was testing his limits.
Similar to her Divinity , Riley's magical energy was also enhanced but this time it was a natural enhancement caused by fully assimilating the Ourobos constellation essence and triggering an evolution.
First of all , Riley's body no longer produced ordinary magical energy. Now she absorbed ambient magic from the atmosphere and her body processed it into a much stronger magical energy which her body stored.
This processed magical energy was called Cosmic Ether in the dim fragments of information her evolution provided and unlike the magic in the surroundings , it was much more refined with a higher Potency too.
The storm of energy that was surrounding Riley was infact about a tenth of her Cosmic Ether reserves , which admittedly were very low , yet the resulting phenomenon was already impressive.
The tests continued for the next hour and a half as Riley switched between male and female constantly and studied the changes in his body for each form.
In the end , Riley concluded that when male , his lean and cute boyish frame was more a tank, warrior and mid range combat specialist.
Meanwhile , when female he had the potential for wide area destruction , magical combat and long range combat.
'I should have expected this.' And indeed , given how he already knew that he was tougher when a male and more connected to his powers as a female , Riley should have expected
This trait wasn't fixed though and he could potentially gain near similar levels of strength and Magic or divinity in both cases , it's just that one succeeded more in one thing than the other.
After fully exploring the increase in physical stats and learning the difference between his male and female self , Riley chose to call it a day and head back home.
Exploring his Divine and evolved abilities was shelved for the next day because he was in the mood for some sun.
