Chapter 3 - Signal Above the Sky

The first ray of sunlight fell on Aryan's face.

But there was no sign of fatigue in his eyes. He had not slept. His mind was busy decoding a single word.

Omega.

He kept repeating it silently, breaking it apart, searching for patterns. Was it a government program? A secret group? Or something older... something hidden above nations?

For the first time, Aryan felt the scale of the game expanding.

He whispered to himself.

Aryan said, "So I'm not the only one building power."

He turned and walked back into his hostel room.

Sameer was sitting on the floor, back against the wall. His face looked drained, as if fear had pulled the life out of him.

Aryan ignored his condition and powered on a large machine beside his desk.

It was not a normal computer. It was a custom built hardware system he had assembled piece by piece.

His next target had already been decided.

Satellites.

Aryan spoke coldly.

Aryan said, "Sameer, get up. Crying won't change data. I need satellite gateway addresses."

Sameer looked up slowly.

Sameer asked, "Why satellites?"

Aryan replied, "Because whoever controls signals... controls information."

He began writing a new program.

He named it Chronos.

It was designed to enter satellite firmware quietly. Once inside, it could redirect signals, delay communication, or broadcast anything he wanted.

If successful, Aryan would not just control the internet.

He would control the sky above it.

Before Sameer could respond, heavy footsteps echoed outside the hostel corridor.

Both froze.

Aryan did not panic. He opened his surveillance feed calmly.

He had already hacked the hostel security cameras.

Four masked men were moving toward his room. Silenced weapons in hand.

Sameer's voice shook.

Sameer said, "Aryan... they're going to kill us."

Aryan pressed a button calmly.

Aryan said, "Sit quietly."

The corridor sprinkler system activated.

But instead of water, a conductive liquid spread across the floor.

The moment the masked men stepped into it, Aryan released high voltage current through the wiring beneath the tiles.

Their bodies collapsed instantly.

No gunshots. No screams.

Just silence.

Aryan walked outside the room.

He bent down and removed one agent's mask.

A tattoo of a severed snake was marked on his neck.

Aryan said softly, "Syndicate."

He searched the agent's pocket and removed a hardware token and phone.

Using facial unlock, he accessed the device.

Without hesitation, he uploaded a destructive program into the Syndicate's internal network.

Sameer stood at the door watching, horrified.

Every ten seconds, the ransomware deleted one Syndicate digital asset.

Accounts. Servers. Databases.

Aryan showed no emotion.

He returned to his room and reconnected to his satellite interface.

Using signal engineering methods, he created what he called a ghost protocol.

Within minutes, global navigation systems began showing slight errors.

Ships drifted off course. Aircraft guidance flickered. Defense radars showed false warnings.

Sameer stepped back in fear.

Sameer said, "Aryan... stop. This could destroy lives."

Aryan kept working.

Aryan replied, "Fear creates obedience. People accept new leaders only after chaos."

He then overrode global news satellite feeds.

Every television screen across multiple countries turned black.

White text appeared.

Your privacy is a myth. Your security is an illusion. Welcome to the era of truth.

It was his declaration.

Simultaneously, billions of smartphones received leaked data files.

Private chats of corrupt leaders. Secret transactions. Hidden offshore accounts.

Public outrage exploded worldwide.

Protests began within hours.

Governments struggled to respond.

Inside the hostel room, Aryan watched it all like a chess player observing pieces move.

Then another encrypted message appeared.

Impressive. You created global chaos. But can you control it? Come downstairs. A black sedan is waiting. Omega wants to meet you.

Aryan stared at the screen for a few seconds.

Then he stood up and wore his jacket.

He looked toward Sameer.

Aryan said, "Stay here. If I don't return in one hour, destroy this hard drive."

Sameer asked weakly, "What's in it?"

Aryan replied, "A virus capable of shutting down the internet permanently."

He left without waiting for a reply.

Outside the hostel gate, a black sedan was parked.

He entered the back seat.

A woman sat inside.

She looked around fifty. Calm posture. Sharp eyes filled with intelligence.

She spoke first.

Professor Meera said, "Aryan. I've been observing you since childhood."

Aryan did not react outwardly, but his attention sharpened.

Professor Meera continued, "Did you really think your intelligence was natural? Your abilities were never coincidence."

She paused, watching his expression.

Professor Meera said, "You are the most successful result of Project Omega."

For the first time, Aryan felt the ground shift beneath his identity.

His intelligence. His rise. His vision.

Was it all engineered?

He controlled his voice before speaking.

Aryan asked, "Then what is my next task?"

Professor Meera smiled faintly.

Professor Meera said, "Not conquering the world. Eliminating the ones who created you."

Aryan's eyes narrowed slightly.

Professor Meera continued, "Because they now see you as a threat. And they plan to delete you."

The car accelerated into the night.

Moments later, a massive explosion echoed behind them.

Aryan turned.

His hostel building was engulfed in flames.

His room.

His systems.

His data.

And possibly... Sameer.

Everything vanished in smoke.

Aryan looked forward again, expression unreadable.

The war had changed.

It was no longer about controlling the world.

It was about surviving the ones who built him.
