Vani's section, 12B, was calmer compared to 12C. Her classmates were focused, neat, and mostly disciplined. But every time she slipped out during breaks, she found herself wandering toward the noisy corridor where 12C lived.
That's where Kairo was-leaning against the wall, surrounded by boys who treated him like their unofficial president. He spotted her instantly.
"You again?" he teased. "Don't you have your own section to terrorize?"
She smirked. "12B is boring. I come here for entertainment."
"Entertainment? You mean watching me get scolded?"
"Exactly."
They laughed, and when the bell rang, neither moved. They ended up sneaking into the canteen instead of returning to class. Later, when both were caught by their respective teachers, they blamed each other over text messages.
Vani: This is your fault.
Kairo: Correction: you dragged me.
Vani: You're impossible.
Kairo: And yet you still skip class with me.
