Chapter 111 - You Actually Have a Titan!

One Norn Emissary was already dead; the other certainly wouldn't last much longer.

Even without a Brutalisk, a swarm of Overlords attacking at once exerted immense pressure on a Norn Emissary. The most lethal threat, however, was the Viper's Abduct proboscis, which could strike at any moment. The Norn Emissary had to face threats from multiple directions simultaneously.

Not to mention, the Queen of Blades had yet to make her move.

The Norn Queen was merely making a final, desperate stand.

Ultimately, this Norn Emissary fell. From its appearance to its death, it had slain over ten Ultralisks. The combat power it displayed was terrifying, but unfortunately, the Zerg Swarm had plenty more Ultralisks where those came from.

With over forty second-generation Ultralisks still on the battlefield, its defeat was no disgrace.

After both Norn Emissaries fell, the Norn Queen was left without her personal bodyguards. The remaining heavy Tyranid units lacked the strength to stop the Ultralisks—even as new Swarmlords hatched and Hive Tyrants leaped onto the heads of the Ultralisks to attack.

The Ultralisk herd pressed on toward the Norn Queen, plunging their massive Kaiser Blades deep into her body.

The Norn Queen was impaled—one pair of blades, then two. Multiple Ultralisks tore through her form. Though she fought back, it was futile.

The most powerful synapse creature of this Tyranid fleet was finally dead.

The death of the Norn Queen did not mean the end of the Hive Fleet; instead, the fleet seemed to receive new orders and began to flee the battlefield in all directions. In truth, after a Norn Queen dies, a new one eventually takes her place. Until then, the Hive Fleet tries to preserve as much strength as possible. Once the new Queen is born, they will resume command of the local fleet and fulfill the will of the Great Devourer once more.

But for now, this Hive Fleet had scattered.

The Swarmlords were still commanding troops, but their demise was only a matter of time. Without the Norn Queen, they no longer had reinforcements from the bio-ships.

The fleet of Craftworld Yelank felt the pressure of the battlefield begin to lift.

†The Norn Queen is dead.†

Melina gripped her Farseer blade.

†Now, only that one swarm remains.†

The High Farseer of Yelank was finally able to free herself to personally enter the fray.

†Farseer, give the command!†

†Go, awaken the Warlock Titan!!!†

Melina's first order was to wake the Warlock Titan of Craftworld Yelank. She knew full well that only a Warlock Titan stood a chance against that strange, half-human, half-insect entity.

Inside a Warlock Titan resided more than just one Eldar Farseer's soul; it was a gestalt of dozens of souls. Because of this, its psychic power was immense—strong enough to calm Warp storms. In Imperial records, the engagement ratio for Psi-Titans against a Warlock Titan was three-to-one, and even then, a Warlock Titan had been known to destroy one of its attackers.

†Farseer, do we have a chance of winning?† a young seer beside her asked softly.

†I do not know, but I believe we will prevail.†

Melina didn't dare boast of a guaranteed victory; she felt lost regarding Yelank's future. But the Aeldari are a proud race; they would not submit to these "bugs."

The Warlock Titan was awakened. This ancient weapon, which had existed since before the Fall, erupted with a terrifying psychic pulse the moment it surged to life. Its voice echoed throughout the entire Craftworld.

†I HAVE RETURNED!!!†

The psychic energy was so potent that the Craftworld's infinity circuit seemed to resonate with it, emitting a brilliant radiance. Countless Aeldari souls slumbering within the ship became active.

Oh ho, looks like a real heavy hitter has arrived.

The power of a Warlock Titan can be considered one of the pinnacles of ground units. A standard Psi-Titan is already a headache, but a Warlock Titan is even more troublesome. Standard Titan units are difficult enough to deal with as it is.

The Zerg Swarm was still mopping up the remnants of the Tyranids, who hadn't fully routed yet because the Swarmlords were still alive. However, the Zerg also began sending units to attack the Eldar. The Overmind never forgot its goal: the star charts of the Craftworld. The Swarm attacked both fronts simultaneously.

But this time, Melina took to the front lines to command the battle personally. The power displayed by the High Farseer was formidable; whether it was Hydralisks or Roaches, they were pulverized by her psychic blasts.

†Do not panic! Hold the line!!!†

†It is here!!!†

From the very rear of the battle line, a massive beam of psychic energy slammed into the Zerg positions. The impact was so powerful that most Zerg units were vaporized instantly upon contact. The beam swept through the swarm, carving a path of countless casualties.

The Warlock Titan strode forward, taking massive steps toward the front line. The Titan-grade psychic lance on its arm crackled with energy. Its wraithbone structure glowed with a soul-light so enticing it would likely make a Slaaneshi daemon drool. On this battlefield, however, its light shone upon the Eldar troops, buffing them in every aspect.

†A Warlock Titan.†

The Overmind became uncharacteristically serious.

†Don't let its size fool you; its strength is absurd.†

Without deploying the Queen of Blades, the Overmind was certain that no other Zerg unit could destroy this Titan. Its power was beyond conventional combat logic.

My daughter, it is your turn.

†Yes, Overmind.†

When encountering such high-tier combat power, sending the Queen of Blades was always the right call. Having once been a Dark Eldar Succubus, the Queen of Blades knew exactly how powerful the ancient weapons of her "kin" were.

She did not underestimate the enemy this time. She landed directly at the front of the swarm and immediately unleashed a surging psychic shockwave.

The first strike was at full power.

This single hit tore through the bodies of dozens of Eldar warriors. Melina sensed the danger instantly and threw up a psychic shield to block it. The moment her mind touched the psychic signature of the Queen of Blades, she knew the half-human entity was an absolute monster. Melina was thrown back dozens of meters, her psychic strength nearly shattered instantly.

†This is impossible! Is this really the psychic power of a biological creature?!†

The Queen of Blades was indeed a monster—after all, she was someone who could slap a Keeper of Secrets to death and trade blows with Tyranid Hive Minds.

However, the Warlock Titan was also a monster. Seeing that Melina's power couldn't fully withstand the Queen of Blades, the Titan activated its own psychic shield. Combined, they successfully held back the Queen's psychic assault.
