That was the name of the person Devon got to run a DNA test on Orion. Of course, the Esper didn't give the woman many details on whom the hair strand belonged to—at least, that's what Devon said.
She was a Guide. A-Rank, but she rarely partook in field work. Her main duty in the Guild was caring for wounded Espers and Guides.
She and Devon have apparently known each other since college too.
"Don't tell me y'all dated." Ambrose gave the man a scrutinising look after he revealed that last bit.
Devon brushed it off, saying nothing of the sort happened. He thought Ambrose was being paranoid after watching the news. In reality, the cunning Guide was merely putting up a front.
One that wouldn't make him suspect he had something else cooking in his mind.
Ambrose excused himself to the bathroom and freshened up as fast as possible. They had to go to the school Devon had talked about by nine, and it was currently forty-seven minutes past seven.
