An oder of sweat and something unidentifiable crawled beneath the door, finding its way to me. It was freezing, my hands we're numb,no matter how hard i fought the cold. I looked Up, desperate to see, but was met only by a wall of absolute darkness.
The light had failed me. It didn't matter anymore. I'd endure the shadows for a single night.
I forced myself to lay down, hoping for sleep to take me.
