The knocking woke me from a deep sleep.

I jolted upright.
This definitely wasn't my place. It looked like a simple village house. Why was I here…?
Main God… succubus… Devil Fruits… was none of it a dream?
"Hey, you're awake?" A scarred middle-aged man walked in.
I turned—and froze. Black police uniform, windmill on his head… this guy looked familiar. Village cop Genzo from Cocoyasi Village, Nami's hometown in One Piece.
"Where… is this?"
"Hehe, this is Cocoyasi Village. I'm Genzo, the village cop. I found you washed up on the beach. You look like a sailor—did you get caught in a storm?"

I mentally chanted: Lightning.
Crackle… a spark flashed across my fingertip. It works!
Next, Mind-Mind Fruit. I closed my eyes, imitating cultivation novels, and tried to sense mental energy.
Suddenly a profound feeling hit me. The darkness vanished—everything within a 3-meter radius around me was perfectly clear, clearer than eyesight, like divine sense. Beyond 3 meters: pitch black.
I focused on the pebble and tried to lift it.
It felt like picking it up with my hand.
I opened my eyes—the pebble was floating right in front of me.

Mind-Mind Fruit's divine sense range: 3-meter diameter. Telekinesis could barely lift ~10 kg for 10 seconds before my head spun and I needed 2 minutes of rest. But as I trained, consuming and recovering mental energy, the range grew by 1 meter, and lifting 10 kg felt easier.
Growth-type fruit… how strong will it get later?
I extended my sense toward the sea—spotted some fish.
"Lightning Arrow."
Locked on with divine sense—perfect hit. Fish flipped belly-up on the surface.
Lightning Arrow… kinda lame name, but whatever.
After two hours of testing, I got a good grasp on Rumble-Rumble and Mind-Mind Fruits.
Finally some self-defense power. Next up… Lilith's magic array. This one I'm really curious about…

I browsed the shop tabs.
Attribute Enhancement: Simple, exact copy of the attributes panel with + buttons. Pay to get stronger. Since I have no way to recharge yet, I'll have to grind points slowly.
Skill Shop: Full of demon skills—Hypnosis, Aphrodisiac Arts, Tentacle Mastery, Brainwashing… all the naughty stuff. Not much for combat, but some useful ones like Desire Space (store living people inside, time/space controlled by owner—but they have to enter willingly). Price tag made me shiver—way too many zeros.
Item Shop: …True to a lust demon's style. Whips, candles, blindfolds, gags, ropes, handcuffs, bondage sets, dildos, anal plugs, sexy lingerie, SM leather outfits… scrolled for a minute, all kink gear. Blood rushed just reading the names.
Then I found normal stuff: cigarettes, beer, tissues, snacks, ice cream—basically a convenience store. Items cheap (10–500 points range). Nice, daily life just got easier.
I won't spend recklessly until I confirm how to earn Desire Points. Better play it safe.
Closed the panel and organized my thoughts.
Main quest: Find One Piece, become Pirate King—no time limit, no rush.
Side quest: Collect Desire Points—crucial for getting stronger, surviving, and living luxuriously.
So… time to go ruin some beauties, hehehe…
Cocoyasi Village, Nami and Nojiko sisters—perfect first targets…
Thinking about it, some dark desire stirred deep inside. Was it the magic array's influence? Or my own nature? I couldn't tell—but I didn't resist it.
Guess I need to take down Arlong first… With my current strength, I'm not quite there yet. Need to level up a bit…
By the time I returned to the village, it was evening. The sunset over the fields and houses was beautiful.
While I was enjoying the view, a voice ruined the moment.
"Hey, Lin Xiu, back from your walk? Where'd you disappear to all day?"
I turned—Genzo, on patrol.
"Yeah, stayed at the beach thinking about my future plans."
"No rush, take your time. If you've got nowhere to stay, crash at my place for now. Come on, it's about dinner time—let's head back."
A week passed just like that. I freeloaded at Genzo's house, eating and sleeping for free. Every day I'd go to the beach to train Mind-Mind and Rumble-Rumble Fruits.
Now Mind-Mind Fruit is Lv.3—divine sense range 20-meter diameter, telekinesis can lift ~200 kg.
Rumble-Rumble Fruit Lv.3—max output 1 million volts lightning attacks.
Horm-Horm Fruit still unused (not for combat anyway).
Villagers knew about the "poor shipwreck survivor" and thought my daily beach trips were because I couldn't accept reality. Every time they saw me, they gave sympathetic looks. Super awkward.
During the week I finally met Nojiko—the warm, kind beauty. Short blue hair gave her a gentle vibe, but her outfit was bold: tank top and hot pants, with the tattoo visible on her arm and chest. Remembering the story behind that tattoo made me feel sorry for her strength.
Nojiko was friendly and enthusiastic toward me, but a faint sadness always lingered in her eyes. As long as Arlong's shadow hangs over them, they'll never truly be happy.
Yeah… time to deal with Arlong. I hated that guy in the manga—ugly, bad personality, low IQ, all-around trash.
Today, like usual, I went to the beach to train. Fruits are strong, but I have zero real combat experience—better practice safely.
I lifted a ~100 kg boulder with telekinesis, condensed divine sense into a sharp spear, and stabbed downward.

Rock split into chunks—not the clean cut I wanted. Not enough force? Or blade not solid enough?
I condensed another blade and compressed it harder with mental power. Soon my head throbbed, I lost focus, and collapsed from exhaustion. Damn… still not strong enough.
After resting, I switched to Rumble-Rumble training—electro-fishing.
Standing at the shore, I extended my hand. Countless arcs crackled between my palm and the sea surface. Rumble-Rumble levels up by exhausting electricity then recovering.
While lazily thinking of cool lightning moves, a clear voice startled me.
"Lin Xiu, are you strong?"
I jumped—damn, too lost in thought.
I turned—Nojiko stood at the edge of the trees, eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Uh, Nojiko? Why are you here?"
"I heard weird loud booms from the beach, so I came to check."
Crap, that was the Invisible Spear explosion…
"You… saw everything?"
"Yeah! Lin Xiu, you're amazing! You shattered huge rocks and can control lightning!"
"Hehe, no big deal." Actually… this is perfect. Let the cute girl see my power—she'll definitely ask me to deal with Arlong. Free favor, jackpot!
"Then… compared to Arlong, who's stronger?"
Right on cue—she took the bait.
"Fishman Arlong? He's strong, but if I go all out… I should be able to take him down."
