Watching the chains whip towards Acnologia's head, a cold smile played on Hades's lips—but it froze the next instant.

Cold sweat dripped from Hades's forehead as he looked at his uncontrollably trembling hands. In that instant, he had felt an intense aura of death.
It was like an ordinary person standing on the edge of a cliff, almost falling to their doom!
Staring at Acnologia's demon-god-like figure, fear gripped his heart. He could no longer muster the courage to fight.
This was an enemy unlike any he had ever seen, utterly terrifying!
No wonder he could maintain such magic power even after Tenrou Island's sacred tree was toppled. This was supported by absolute strength.
Being too far away, Makarov couldn't hear what the two had said. He only saw Hades suddenly retreat. Without hesitation, he activated his magic again, his body growing gigantic to resume the fight.
Right now, the children could only fight thanks to Acnologia and Irene's magic. He absolutely could not let Hades disturb the two of them.
