It was right at that moment that Lizzy heard Phantom returning with her twins in tow. He excitedly walked into their bedroom, a twin in each arm, his face falling as he saw Lizzy laying on the floor. "Are you okay, my mate?" His voice turned gruff, eyes glaring daggers at Vaelis. "Why is she on the ground?"
"I found her like this, wolf. Calm yourself." Vaelis growled, his horn glowing slightly.
Phantom frowned, moving forward and crouching beside her. Both twins climbed down from their father's arms and moved to play on the floor. "What happened?"
"Both of you are worrying far too much." Lizzy grouched while slowly sitting up. "I just learned a new skill and it took more energy than I thought it would. Actually, I wasn't expecting the headache that came with this." She rubbed her temples with shaking fingers, trying to ignore the way that her head was pounding.
