Chapter 11 - Kiriko, the Cheater! [11]

My ass... crashed into your foot?

Motherfucker...

The king was so furious his veins nearly exploded.

But before he could even open his mouth, Kiriko slapped him again.

"How dare you hit my hand with your ear again? Even if you are a king, if you don't give me an explanation today, I'll give you one instead."

"I... I hit you...? Fuck... you… son of a bitch…"

Forget dignity, forget composure—at this moment, the king hurled them all out the window.

But the poor king couldn't even finish cursing before another slap landed on his face, knocking loose teeth mixed with bloody spit onto the expensive red carpet.

"You all heard him, right? This Trash King not only repeatedly offended me but also called me a 'son of a bitch.' Witnesses everywhere—no chance for denial, Trash King."

Everyone around stood dumbfounded.

Even the most loyal ministers didn't dare approach after seeing the king reduced to this miserable state.

What kind of person was this female hero back in her own world?!

Twisting truths, blatant lies, pointing at deer and calling them horses—how the hell was she so skilled at this? Exactly how many times had she done it?

Sure, I'm a minister, but didn't you see her beat the crap out of the king just now?

If I try pulling her away and she accuses me of "deliberately bumping into her," wouldn't she just end my lineage with one swift kick?

"Pfft!"

Amidst the silence in the audience hall, someone failed to suppress a snort.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA—!"

Naofumi Iwatani felt the weight pressing on his heart suddenly lift by half.

"Naofumi, how can you still laugh?"

Motoyasu Kitamura frowned at Naofumi.

"Aren't you and Kiriko-san allies? Go talk her down quickly."

"Motoyasu, what do you mean by that? Sure, I'm with Kiriko-san, but aren't you guys with her as well? Don't forget we were all summoned here together as the Four Cardinal Heroes."

If it were the old Naofumi Iwatani, he'd surely feel that Kiriko's unreasonable behavior was wrong.

But now...

Reason with scumbags?

Only an idiot with sewer oil for brains would do that.

"Hey, Kiriko-san, maybe that's enough? Otherwise, I—as the Bow Hero—can't keep standing by and watching."

"Me too."

Itsuki Kawasumi and Ren Amaki raised their weapons toward Kiriko.

"Oh?"

Kiriko casually wiped away the blood that had splashed onto her face.

Actually, although the king looked pretty bad, she hadn't even used a third of her strength.

At level 450, if she punched with full force—even bare-handed—not just the king's ass, but the throne and the floor beneath it would be obliterated.

Of course, she could kill this Trash King in a single punch.

But...

Sometimes, letting someone live is worse than letting them die.

Especially for Trash King—killing him with one punch would be too merciful. Humiliating him by viciously beating his face, now that was far more satisfying than killing him outright.

As for retaliation afterward?

Sorry, it's nothing personal.

Everyone in this kingdom—in fact, everyone in this whole world—is trash!

"Kiriko-san, since we heroes were summoned here, we should help this kingdom and save the world—not act selfishly. Even if you have truly suffered injustice, you still shouldn't behave like this," Motoyasu Kitamura said, full of righteous indignation.

"Are you guys even human?"

Naofumi jumped in front of the three heroes pointing weapons, shielding Kiriko.

"You're so full of justice now, but where were your righteous mouths when Trash King was framing us earlier?"

"Shut up, Naofumi!"

Motoyasu pointed his spear toward Naofumi.

"In the end, this is all your fault! If you hadn't tried to do that kind of thing to Myne, we wouldn't be in this situation!"

"Hah?"

Faced with Motoyasu's accusation, Naofumi's expression clearly said: "Are you fucking mentally deficient?"

Just as he opened his mouth to retort, he felt a hand patting his shoulder. Turning around, he saw Kiriko giving him a faint smile.

"Since these three honorable heroes brimming with justice and duty clearly don't share our views, what's the point in arguing? Naofumi, let's go."

"Hold on! After being this disrespectful to my fath—... His Majesty, you think you can just walk away?"

Myne, previously hiding behind Motoyasu, jumped out to accuse them.

"Three Heroes-sama, surely you wouldn't want the reputation of the heroes tainted by scum like these?"

Upon hearing Myne's words, Motoyasu and Ren didn't react much, but Itsuki's expression immediately changed.

Since arriving here as a hero, Itsuki had fantasized about secretly taking down oppressive noble lords, then dramatically revealing himself afterward to shock and awe the people he'd saved—exactly like in the games he'd played.

He'd even planned for those people to hide his identity, letting legends spread about "the unseen Bow Hero fighting injustice throughout the land."

But now, realizing this dream might crumble because of Kiriko's actions, Itsuki simply couldn't forgive her.

"You can't leave! You and Naofumi must immediately apologize for your insolence!"

Myne looked profoundly touched.

"Bow Hero-sama, your justice shines brighter than the sun itself."

At her praise, Itsuki felt his bones grow lighter by a few pounds.

"If you and Naofumi sincerely apologize, we heroes might speak on your behalf so His Majesty won't punish you too severely."

Ren Amaki said nothing, but standing coldly with his sword pointed at Kiriko was enough to clarify his stance.

Motoyasu Kitamura, annoyed at Itsuki stealing the spotlight, reluctantly added:

"That's right, Kiriko-san and Naofumi. It's not too late to repent. Apologize sincerely to His Majesty. I'm sure he'll graciously forgive you."

Such heartfelt advice from these three noble heroes could move even hearts of stone, enlightening the darkest minds.

Kiriko, too, seemed moved by their sincerity.

She nodded, giving her answer clearly and firmly:

"No."
