Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: The Fourth Holy Grail War

Mrs. Yukinoshita—Yukinoshita Shizuka—turned around at the sound and noticed Kanjuro's leisurely approaching figure. She suddenly remembered that this man had appeared at the hospital yesterday to visit her daughter, Yukinoshita Yukino. A sense of foreboding and intense vigilance instantly gripped her heart.

"What a... sad and hopeless sight," Kanjuro said, ignoring the mess and gore on the ground as he walked straight to Yukinoshita Yukino, who was slumped on the floor. His tone carried a detached judgment. "You killed so many people; how cruel." He lightly pinned the crime on the young girl.

"Master Kanjuro, it's my fault... it's all my fault..." Yukinoshita Yukino's eyes were hollow as she repeated mechanically, "Just when will you be willing to stop your revenge against me?" Her voice was filled with exhaustion and desperate resignation.

"What do you mean?" Yukinoshita Shizuka listened to her daughter's words in shock as a terrifying thought took shape in her mind. "Could it be... all of this was because of this man named Kanjuro..."

Perhaps sensing Yukinoshita Shizuka's thoughts, Kanjuro turned his gaze toward her, a gentle smile on his face, though his words were the cruelest: "You guessed right, Mrs. Shizuka. Just now, I borrowed your daughter's body to 'clean up' these meddlesome fellows."

"No! Impossible!" Yukinoshita Shizuka couldn't understand, her voice trembling with fear. "Why would you do this?!"

"Why?" Kanjuro chuckled, reaching out to stroke her pale cheek, his fingertips icy cold. "Think about it. Why was your entire household slaughtered, leaving only you and your daughter safe and sound? Could it be..." He leaned down and whispered in her ear, his warm, moist breath puffing against the side of her neck, "because a mature and charming woman like you is particularly to my taste?"

Before he finished speaking, Kanjuro roughly tore open her black mourning clothes. Darkness once again shrouded the Yukinoshita residence, which had already become a purgatory, as if even the moonlight couldn't bear to witness the tragedy that followed.

This once elegant and noble mistress of the Yukinoshita family endured an unspeakable, long torment that night. From initial violent resistance and struggling, to numbness after exhaustion, and then to the gradual collapse of her body and will under Kanjuro's eerie charm and absolute power... it was a long and painful process. Like the most precise anatomist, Kanjuro easily pried open the most fragile defenses of her soul, exposing her long-ignored and suppressed emotional desires and magnifying them infinitely.

Those awakened desires, under Kanjuro's guidance, became like a bottomless black hole that could never be filled. And this never-to-be-satisfied longing began to twist her mind and personality, dragging her step by step into the abyss of depravity.

After that night, the severely weakened Yukinoshita Family's nominal control fell into the hands of the only remaining heirs—Yukinoshita Shizuka and Yukinoshita Yukino. However, the true master behind the scenes had already changed.

One month later, within the deep courtyard of the Yukinoshita Family.

The early summer sunlight filtered through the lush foliage, casting dappled spots of light. Kanjuro sat lazily under the veranda, holding a yellowed old newspaper. To his left and right, Yukinoshita Shizuka and Yukinoshita Yukino, dressed in exquisite kimonos, were submissively serving him, pouring tea and handing him snacks. Their eyes held a blur of dependence, their lips murmuring as they spoke of their pathological desire for Kanjuro.

However, Kanjuro's attention was completely drawn to an old news item in the newspaper—

"Ghoul murder incident discovered on a small southern island from Europe... not a single resident on the island survived."

His brow furrowed slightly as he fell into deep thought. "Southern island... Ghouls..." he murmured to himself, feeling that there was some strange connection hidden behind this. This ten-year-old newspaper was something he had spent considerable effort to dig out from a pile of old papers.

"Master, what's wrong? Why are you ignoring us..." Yukinoshita Yukino asked in a flirtatious voice. Like her mother Shizuka, they couldn't understand why Kanjuro would be so interested in strange news from over ten years ago.

Kanjuro glanced at them without answering, simply using actions to interrupt their questioning. After another bout of passion, the two beauties were drenched in sweat, embracing each other in exhaustion as they fell into a deep sleep on the room's tatami.

Kanjuro briskly put on his trench coat, his eyes regaining their calm and depth. Now, the Yukinoshita Family was completely under his control. Although the core members had been almost entirely slaughtered, with Yukinoshita Shizuka and Yukinoshita Yukino as the legal heirs, combined with the financial support of the Morimoto Financial Group behind the scenes, he had already woven a significant network of influence in the shadows.

But he felt that this was still far from enough.

On a bright and beautiful day, at another aristocratic school.

Tohsaka Aoi, a young girl from a former Magician lineage (though by her generation, her magical power was nearly depleted), had been preoccupied lately. To restore the family's prestige, the family decided to have her marry the famous genius Magician of the Clock Tower, Tohsaka Tokiomi. She had no room for resistance; this was her mission as a daughter of the Zenjou family.

"What's wrong? Aoi, you look like you have a lot on your mind." A boy with short black hair who looked a bit timid but had burning eyes—Kariya Matou—walked forward with concern. "How about I take you to a movie? There's a new one that just came out..."

"It's nothing." Tohsaka Aoi forced a smile and interrupted him. In her mind, the nightmare of that night uncontrollably surfaced—the experience of being forcibly taken by that man named Kanjuro in the basement of the Sacred Scripture Academy's Old School Building. Fear coiled around her heart like cold vines. What she feared even more was that if the fact that she was no longer a virgin became known to the Tohsaka Family... with Tohsaka Tokiomi's status as a noble Magician who valued tradition, would he care?

She hated her own ignorance and curiosity; why did she, on a whim, step into that forbidden land called the Sacred Scripture Academy? She felt she was utterly foolish.

As she walked to the school gate with a heavy heart, her pupils suddenly contracted—that nightmare-like figure was leaning against the wall at the corner of the street.

Kanjuro was wearing a simple black trench coat, a cigarette in his mouth as he slowly exhaled a smoke ring. His handsome yet sinister face was faintly visible in the smoke, appearing as though he had been waiting there for a long time.

Tohsaka Aoi's heart instantly leaped into her throat.

"Won't you go to the movies with me? Aoi..." Kariya Matou was still beside her, trying one last time.

Tohsaka Aoi suppressed the panic in her heart and shook her head, her tone distant: "Kariya, you go back first. I... happen to have some things to do and want to be alone for a bit."

A flash of disappointment crossed Kariya Matou's eyes, but he was gentle by nature and never forced anything. "Alright... if there's anything making you unhappy, you must tell me." He gave her a worried look before finally turning to leave.
