Kanjuro stood where he was, taking a deep breath of the air that seemed to still hold her seductive scent. This Demon Sister was always like this, coming suddenly and leaving with ease.
However, at the thought of the possibility of completely conquering and ravaging her in the future, a wave of indescribable secret pleasure and anticipation welled up in Kanjuro's heart.
Time resumed its flow.
The women around him seemed to have only blinked; they didn't notice anything unusual, as if the previous interlude had never happened for them.
Kanjuro dressed himself as if nothing had happened.
Estimating the time, he took out a crystal ball condensed from pure Black Magic.
He injected mana into it, and the ball immediately displayed a clear image—Maiya was on a cruise ship with a cold-faced man, sailing across the vast ocean toward an unknown destination.
"Emiya Kiritsugu? This is truly... interesting." A playful smile curled on the corner of Kanjuro's mouth. He had finally waited for this critical juncture to arrive.
Maiya had once made a promise to Kanjuro: no matter where she was, Kanjuro would be able to find her, and the two of them would meet at least once a month. Now, the time for their appointment was approaching.
The scene shifted to a land ruled by severe cold.
This was Europe, near the area where the legendary Einzbern Castle was located.
Extreme cold enveloped everything, and as far as the eye could see, there was only ice and snow, with heavy snow falling endlessly like goose feathers.
Maiya stood in the knee-deep snow, her gaze complex as she watched Emiya Kiritsugu's figure gradually recede and finally disappear inside the bounded field that was difficult to see with the naked eye but radiated powerful magical fluctuations around the castle's perimeter.
She herself was blocked outside by that invisible barrier, unable to take a single step inside.
"Wait for me here; I have some important matters to handle inside," Emiya Kiritsugu instructed before leaving, in his usual flat and emotionless tone.
"Mhm." Maiya nodded without asking more. She could feel that the bounded field contained an ancient and powerful force that she could not forcibly enter.
She found a gnarled tree covered in ice and snow at the edge of the bounded field, cleared a small space in the lee of the wind, and lit a campfire. The dancing flames brought a bit of warmth, and she habitually took out a cigarette, lit it, took a deep drag, and exhaled a cloud of white mist into the cold air.
I miss Master Kanjuro so much... A feeling of longing filled her heart.
Just then, a dark shadow, seemingly blending in with the surrounding snow scene, appeared silently behind her.
As a trained killer, Maiya was highly alert and noticed the abnormality almost instantly.
She whipped her head around, her weapon already raised subconsciously, aiming in the direction of the newcomer!
However, what met her eyes was that familiar face she had been longing for, so handsome it was breathtaking.
"Master Kanjuro!" A huge surprise instantly collapsed all her defenses. Maiya's voice carried an unbelievable excitement, and her eyes even welled up with tears of joy. "This is wonderful... I've finally seen you again!"
"You've already made contact with Emiya Kiritsugu?" Kanjuro asked with a smile, as if everything was under his control.
"Yes." Maiya didn't doubt how Kanjuro knew and immediately revealed everything she had learned. "Emiya Kiritsugu has the title of 'Magician Killer'. His visit to Einzbern Castle this time was by internal invitation."
"Invited him to do what?"
"Supposedly to participate in some kind of... ancient ritual." Maiya tried to recall the fragments of information Kiritsugu had occasionally revealed. "Kiritsugu didn't tell me the specific details. However, please rest assured, as long as I'm given enough time, I believe I will definitely be able to discover the truth."
"Maiya, you've done well." Kanjuro reached out and pulled her tightly into his arms, whispering in her ear with a voice that carried a seductive magic.
"Then... have you ever tried sharing pleasure with your master in this world of ice and snow?"
Maiya's body trembled slightly at this bold suggestion. She looked up into Kanjuro's deep eyes, which held no hesitation, but instead surged with a near-morbid fanaticism and devotion: "As long as it is Master's will... even if I freeze and die, Maiya will not hesitate."
Hearing this, Kanjuro laughed out loud, his finger lightly tracing her cold cheek. "I love this... unparalleled loyalty of yours."
Before he finished speaking, he suddenly tore open the heavy winter clothing on Maiya's body.
The piercing cold wind instantly kissed her slightly exposed neck and shoulders.
In the ice and snow, Maiya's breathing became a little hurried. "Master, didn't you come to find me to investigate something? I'm so cold..." Her body trembled; she didn't know if it was ice or fire, but a wonderful warm current was flowing through her veins.
"Investigation is secondary. My little pet needs her master's care right now; how could I not be good to you?" Kanjuro chuckled, holding Maiya tightly in his arms amidst the falling snow, using his body heat to dispel the cold for her.
Maiya murmured softly, but she felt exceptionally secure in her heart.
A long time later.
Wrapped in the outer robe Kanjuro had handed her, Maiya sat by the campfire, staring longingly in the direction where Kanjuro had disappeared, her eyes filled with reverence and trust.
"Master treats me as a special existence." She sighed softly. Although she was incredibly attached to Kanjuro, just thinking of him made her feel warm all over.
Einzbern Castle was enveloped in a powerful Reality Marble; without permission, outsiders could never enter.
Kanjuro stood with his hands behind his back, staring at the Magical Bounded Field before him, a black light flashing in his eyes.
The Demon-Breaking Eye instantly saw through the essence of the bounded field.
The next second, he had silently traversed into the interior of the bounded field.
The snow-white castle came into view, with snow falling heavily. This castle was ancient and quiet, exuding a mysterious aura.
Kanjuro leaped up, his figure moving nimbly between the castle structures, his body able to freely transform into a pitch-black liquid—
If one observed closely, they would find that as time passed, Kanjuro's true form was gradually approaching the posture of an Old God.
Deep inside the castle.
Emiya Kiritsugu stood expressionless before the master of Einzbern Castle—an elderly man.
Between them lay the body of a woman.
The woman wore a long white dress, her silver-white hair cascading like a waterfall as she slept quietly in an exquisite coffin, like a Sleeping Beauty in the snow.
