Lina crossed her arms."If I say I like you… what will you say?"Rin looked confused."I will say… please don't tell my mom."Lina blinked. "Why?"Rin whispered,"She already calls you daughter-in-law."Lina's eyes became wide."WHAT?!"Rin's mom suddenly shouted from downstairs,"Linaaa~ Breakfast is ready for you two lovebirds!"Lina grabbed a pillow and hit Rin."This is all your fault!"Rin covered his head."I didn't do anything!"Outside the window, the sun was shining…Morning felt calm again.
No magic. No panic. No shouting.Lina sat on the chair quietly.Rin sat on his bed Both were silent for a few seconds.Lina spoke first,"So… everything is normal now."Rin nodded."Yes. Just normal classmates."Lina stood up and stretched."Good. Then don't act weird at school."Rin smiled a little."You too. Don't suddenly cry again."Lina looked at him seriously…then lightly smiled.
"Idiot."They walked downstairs together.Rin's mom looked at them."Why so quiet today?"Both answered at the same time,"Nothing!"Everything was normal again…But inside their hearts, something small had changed
Rin and Lina reached the academy.Everything looked normal.Suddenly, Kael came running."Rin!" he said loudly."Did you do fun last night?" Rin almost choked."W-What are you saying?!"Lina looked confused."Fun? What fun?"Kael smirked."I heard Lina stayed at your house."Rin's face turned red."It's not like that!"Lina crossed her arms."Yes. Nothing happened."Kael looked disappointed."So boring…"Rin pushed him lightly."Go to class!"Kael laughed."Okay, okay. But I'm watching you two."Lina and Rin looked at each other. Both sighed."Why is he like this…" they said together.
After some days…The academy announced Level Check Day.All students gathered in the big hall. One by one, students went to the magic crystal to check their level.
"Level 12!""Level 11!""Level 13!"
Everyone was excited.Kael smiled proudly."I trained a lot. I will surprise everyone."Rin felt nervous.Last time… his magic failedLina looked at him."Don't worry. Just stay calm."Rin nodded slowly.Teacher called his name."Rin. Come forward."All students started whispering.Rin walked to the crystal…The whole hall became silent.
Rin touched the crystal.
It glowed softly.
"Level 10," the teacher announced.
The teacher nodded."Good. E-class students are improving."
Some students clapped slowly.Kael whispered, "Wow, Rin. Double digits. Big progress!" Rin rolled his eyes.
Next was Lina. She placed her hand on the crystal.Bright light filled the hall."Level 15."Students gasped."Whoa…"Lina smiled proudly and looked at Rin."See? Hard work."Then Kael walked forward confidently.
He cracked his fingers."Now watch carefully."He touched the crystal. The crystal started shaking. It glowed… blinked… made weird noises…Then—Crack. The light disappeared.Nothing showed. The teacher stared at the crystal."…Level not detected."Kael flipped his hair dramatically."My power is too high. The crystal can't measure it."All students started laughing. One student said,"Or maybe it's level zero?" Another said,"Crystal said 'I quit!'"
Rin tried not to laugh.Lina covered her mouth. The teacher sighed."Kael… you will pay for the broken crystal."Kael's face turned pale."W-Wait… what?"Rin looked to the other side of the hall.A C-class student, the level 20 boy, stepped up to check his level. He touched the crystal.Suddenly, a big divine light shot out, bright enough to make everyone squint."Level 31!" the teacher shouted.Everyone gasped."Whoa… that's huge!"Now the boy's name appeared on the crystal: Arion.Next, the level 18 girl came forward. She touched the crystal. The light shone again, even brighter than before."Level 25!" the teacher announced. Her name appeared too: Selina.Kael leaned toward Rin, whispering,"Master… they both have blessings from the gods… like heroes!" Rin blinked and muttered under his breath,Hah… because they are main characters. And we… just side characters. He looked at the glowing crystal again.Well… E-class students still have to try… maybe someday we'll get god blessings too… maybe…Kael groaned quietly,"Master… stop thinking like a villain… we are just normal… normal… normal…"
The hall became quiet again. Now it was the turn of the Student Council A-Class girl. She walked calmly to the crystal.Everyone moved aside.Kael whispered,"Now the real monster is coming…"She gently placed her hand on the crystal.
For one second… nothing happened. Then—A massive golden light exploded across the hall.Wind rushed through the room. Some students almost fell down. The teacher shouted,"Level 50!"The whole hall froze."F-Fifty?!""That's impossible!""She's first rank in the whole academy!"Her name appeared above the crystal:
Ariana – Rank 1
All the boys stared."She's so beautiful…""Like a goddess…""I can't even look at her properly…"Kael wiped fake tears."Life is unfair. Strong and beautiful."Rin crossed his arms."…Yeah. Definitely main character energy."Ariana calmly turned around and walked back to her seat.Like nothing special happened. But the hall was still shaking from her power.
DeepSea Arc: starting
The scene shifted to the Principal's office.
The principal was sitting at his large desk, reviewing some papers.Suddenly, a magical envelope floated in through the window.it glowed with a soft blue light. The principal reached out and caught it carefully. He opened it slowly.Inside was a letter from the SeaCrystal Academy. He read aloud,"Greetings, MagicHunters Academy. We request the attendance of your top students for a special inter-academy challenge.Rewards will include rare magic artifacts and high-level blessings.Signed: SeaCrystal Academy Headmaster."The principal leaned back in his chair, eyes wide."This… this is serious," he muttered. An assistant peeked in nervously."Principal… should we call the students?"The principal nodded slowly."Yes… but only the top ranks. No E-class… for now."Rin, Lina, Kael… and the other students had no idea yet that their peaceful school life was about to get even crazier
In the principal's office, all the teachers and the principal gathered around the desk, discussing the letter from SeaCrystal Academy. One teacher said seriously,"We have to select the top students… only A and B class."Another teacher frowned."But what about the E-class students? Some of them have shown unusual power. This year's badges are stronger than ever. I've seen it myself." The principal rubbed his chin."Hmmm… unusual power, you say?""Yes, sir," the teacher continued."Some E-class students improved a lot. If we ignore them, we might miss a hidden talent."Kael, who was listening nearby, whispered to Rin,"Master… looks like even E-class might get a chance." Rin yawned,"Chance… huh… maybe this will be fun."The principal finally nodded."Very well. We will consider giving E-class students a chance… but only the ones who can prove themselves."All teachers murmured in agreement.
After the meeting, the principal made an announcement in the hall.
"All students," he said loudly,"We have received an invitation from SeaCrystal Academy for a special challenge. Only the top-ranked students will be selected… but we will also give a chance to E-class students who show unusual power."All the students gasped. Some A-class and B-class students whispered nervously,"E-class? Really? They want us to compete with them?"Rin leaned back in his seat, smirking. Finally… some excitement. Kael nudged him."Master… looks like we have to show them our power."Lina looked at Rin and whispered,"Should we try? We can surprise them."Rin yawned lazily."Of course. But let's make it interesting."The hall buzzed with excitement.E-class students were whispering,"Maybe we can do it… maybe we can get noticed…"Meanwhile, Rin casually stretched his arms and thought,SeaCrystal Academy… huh. This will be fun…After the announcement, all E-class students gathered in their classroom. Some were nervous. Some were excited.Rin leaned against the wall lazily.Heh… looks like it's our time to shine… Lina clapped her hands."Rin, we should train a little before the challenge."Rin yawned."Fine… but don't overdo it. We have fun too."Kael floated nearby, arms crossed."Master, if we show even 10% of our power, they won't know what hit them."One nervous E-class student whispered,"But… SeaCrystal Academy students are top-ranked. What if we fail?"Rin smirked."Fail? That's boring. We don't do boring."Lina giggled."Yes! Let's surprise them!"Kael nodded seriously."Master, your plan will be… legendary."Rin stretched and lazily pointed at the classroom window."Good. Then let's start. But remember… minimal effort first. Save the rest for fun." The E-class students exchanged confused looks,Minimal effort… with Rin…? This will definitely be chaos.
The next morning, Rin's mom came to the door."Alright, you three," she said, smiling."You'll be gone for 1 month. SeaCrystal Academy is on another continent in the ocean. Be careful and don't get lost!"Rin nodded lazily."Yes, mom. Don't worry."Lina waved shyly."We will be careful."Kael hovered beside Rin."Master, don't worry. I will protect you… and make sure nothing goes wrong." Rin rolled his eyes."Thanks… I think."Rin's mom sighed."Also… eat properly and behave. No trouble!"Lina smiled politely."Yes, ma'am."Rin muttered quietly,1 month… fun and chaos… here we come. The three of them left the house, carrying their bags.Outside, a large magical ship floated above the ocean, glowing with blue light."This… is the SeaCrystal Academy transport," Rin said, impressed.Kael's eyes sparkled."Finally… adventure begins."Lina looked out at the vast ocean."It's beautiful… I wonder what kind of students are there."Rin smirked lazily."Let's go see… and maybe have some fun along the way."The ship slowly lifted into the sky, carrying them across the ocean toward SeaCrystal AcademyAs the ship glided over the ocean, all the students pressed their faces to the windows.Below them, sparkling waves stretched for miles. Then… a beautiful kingdom appeared in the middle of the ocean.Crystal towers shimmered in the sunlight.Bridges of glowing magic connected floating islands.Ships with magical sails moved between towers."Wow…" one student whispered."It's… amazing."Kael floated near Rin, eyes wide."Master… this place… is unbelievable. Look at that castle!" Lina gasped softly."It's like a dream… or a storybook."Rin leaned lazily against the window, smirking."Not bad… not bad at all. Looks like fun waiting for us."All the students stared in awe as the magical ship slowly descended toward the SeaCrystal Academy docks. The adventure across the ocean had officially begun.
