Boom!!
A golden light exploded in front of Tony and Obadiah. The instantaneous shockwave sent both Tony and Obadiah flying five or six meters away, while simultaneously blinding a group of reporters and onlookers who weren't afraid of trouble.
"Friend or foe?"
With excellent shock absorption and a body size close to a human's, Tony regained control of his machine faster than Obadiah. He stood up and looked at the figure standing in the center of the battlefield after the golden light faded, muttering to himself. Although the figure felt very familiar, he still felt he should be cautious; among the people who could appear here and cause such a situation, he didn't think anyone could do it.
"Sir, your sister is requesting a connection."
"Patch her through, quickly."
"Yes, sir."
Without the slightest hesitation, Tony urgently had Jarvis accept Artoria's call. In all the world, his sister was the most important.
"Big brother, sorry. My aim was a bit off just now, and you got caught in the blast."
"What?"
Hearing Artoria's words, Tony was instantly dazed. What was going on? His sister's apology left him bewildered, but saying that meant the person standing in front of him was his sister????
"Artoria, you mean you're right in front of me?"
"Yes, big brother."
Seeing the figure in silver armor wave at him, Tony finally confirmed that his sister had come to help him.
"Artoria, go back... NO! Get out of the way!"
Recovering his senses, Tony operated his suit to walk toward Artoria while wanting her to leave this dangerous place. No matter how strong or special Artoria was, he didn't want her to get involved in dangerous matters because she was his, Tony Stark's, sister. Before Tony could reach Artoria, the iron monger's massive form appeared behind her. Tony tried to warn Artoria in a panic.
"Die, you little bug from nowhere!"
The iron arms were raised high, smashing down toward Artoria like a sledgehammer.
"I don't know why you villains love shouting so much. You don't know the first thing about sneak attacks or assassinations! It's really quite annoying."
Even without Tony's warning, Artoria's 'Instinct' had already told her. How could she ignore that deep malice, anger, and killing intent? Moving a couple of steps to the side, the iron arms slid past her. She retaliated... the lance tip flicked up, directly indicating that this was a weak spot in the suit. Following her direct guidance, Artoria swung her right hand, and the entire head of the suit fell off.
"What? How is that possible? This is an Iron Man Suit made of super-alloy. How could you break it so easily?"
Obadiah, sitting inside, looked in horror through the'skylight' at that strange 'weapon'. He couldn't understand how it could cut through super-alloy so easily.
"Artoria, you..."
"Don't say it, brother. Let's settle the matter at hand first."
Artoria walked easily to Tony's side, knowing what he wanted to ask. But now was not the time for questions; she hadn't properly dealt with that old thief yet and couldn't let him off so easily.
"Fine! But you have to explain everything to me."
His sister didn't want to talk, and Tony had no way to force her. Just as Artoria said, the matter of how to deal with Obadiah was a very serious one right now.
"The weapon in your hand is just a bit sharp, that's all. I've decided to blow you both to Death anyway."
Believing that the weapon in Artoria's hand was her only trump card, Obadiah roared. The launchers on his body all opened, and various small missiles and rockets blasted toward Artoria and Tony.
"What should we do, Director?"
A person with a slightly high hairline who looked very kind was watching the monster-level battle. He stood calmly at the edge and reported to his superior, as if nothing around him could disturb him. From this, it was clear he was an elite at controlling his emotions.
"Handle it after the battle. You understand!"
"Understood, Director."
After hanging up on his subordinate, the one-eyed Director Egg was silent for a moment before dialing another subordinate's number.
"Natasha, is Artoria in her room?"
"She hasn't appeared since dinner, Director. Do you need me to—"
"No, just leave it. Continue to protect her and report any developments."
"Yes, Director."
Having obtained the information he wanted, Director Egg sighed.
"Howard, you've really given me a difficult problem."
"But this plan might actually be achievable."
Taking out a long-buried proposal, Nick's large eye narrowed. He had planned to do this for a long time but never had the right candidates. Now, two candidates had appeared at once. Although Artoria's possibility was slim because Howard and Maria certainly wouldn't agree, Tony might be able to join.
