"That was a brutal beating~!"
Morgan walked out of the United States border with a bitter smile, clutching her injuries. She didn't expect the gap between the two to be so large; she had hoped to hold a sliver of expectation for victory.
She didn't expect this defeat to be even faster than the last; the gap in strength was simply despairing. Morgan prepared to go back and continue training with a face full of loss; she didn't want to give up, or rather, the option of giving up didn't exist in her mind.
She must be with her sister; this was her belief for hundreds of years. Once she gave up this idea, her life would have no meaning.
"Progressing really fast. I didn't expect to have to use half my power to defeat her. She will definitely be a great help to Artoria in the future."
The victor, Ancient One, stood at the place where the two fought and sank into thought. Morgan's strength grew so quickly; Ancient One hadn't expected it.
Defeating the opponent last time was quite simple, with three-tenths of her power, she had defeated Morgan—who was on the extreme edge of her state—in one strike. After beating her until she couldn't use her power, she threw her to Artoria's side; she didn't expect such a big surprise upon meeting this time.
"All the groundwork is basically complete. Once Artoria enters that state, I hope you can awaken her humanity. I can only entrust this to you all."
Recalling the scene of world destruction she'saw' under the kabbalah tree of life, this was Ancient One's knot in her heart.
With a wave of her hand, soil transported from somewhere unknown filled in the surrounding pits. Ancient One also stepped into the newly opened portal.
This battle could be considered a warm-up; next, she had to properly 'teach' Mr. Stephen. The act of fleeing during battle, to put it nicely, could be called a retreat; to put it bluntly, it was being a coward.
"Leaving this matter to the aspect of emotions... I really am getting old."
Ancient One said this with a sigh as she walked in. Usually decisive in killing, she should logically have imprisoned or erased Artoria.
Unexpectedly, this time she went against her own style of conduct; Ancient One began to use emotions to guide Artoria and invested true feelings, hoping Artoria wouldn't walk into the darkness. Sometimes Ancient One wondered if she had changed.
"There is an incredible magic on this child, Artoria."
Ancient One thought this inwardly, having returned to Kamar-Taj. Her gaze happened to meet Mr. Stephen, who was wrapped in bandages.
A smile curled at the corner of Ancient One's mouth. Cold sweat broke out on Mr. Stephen's forehead, his calves began to tremble, and he looked at Sorcerer Ancient One in terror.
"Mr. Stephen, it seems you need to train properly."
In Mr. Stephen's terrified gaze, Ancient One said this with a calm expression. The next moment, Mr. Stephen turned and ran; he was truly too afraid of this bald woman.
Now he felt this woman was the darkest shadow of his life; even when his hands were crippled, he had never been this afraid. At least his life wouldn't be in danger, but the moment he saw this woman, he felt his life was no longer his own.
It was possible that one day he would be lying in the snow or a swamp with his body incomplete.
"Help~!"
A near-desperate cry for help rang throughout Kamar-Taj. The magic apprentices who were training looked over in surprise.
Upon discovering Sorcerer Ancient One standing there, they turned their heads back and continued their work. Offending a sorcerer and still wanting to run, this big brother is still too young.
Don't know if he can survive under Sorcerer Ancient One's 'training'; truly a pity~! Poor guy, they will build a monument of heroes for you.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Kamar-Taj today is 'peaceful' as always~!
But things were very bad for Morgan; just as she was treating her wounds, a woman suddenly appeared here. If not for the fact that the other party was a woman, she would have already attacked.
And this woman's strength was very strong; this woman stood quietly in front of her, but she couldn't feel her presence.
This was no joke, which meant if one excluded the possibility that this woman was an illusion, then her ambushing and killing her were all entirely possible things.
"Sure enough, she looks very much like Artoria."
Gaea did not mind Morgan's vigilance. She looked at Morgan, who was covered in the dust of battle, with interest. Although there was some soot on her face, her features were sixty percent similar to Artoria's. Artoria's face had a heroic spirit, while this woman was extremely soft and charming, feeling like the standard for a mature woman. Artoria, on the other hand, was like a female general ready for battle, possessing a unique, domineering handsomeness in her beauty. It was easy to distinguish the difference between the two, and it could also be seen in their temperament.
"What did you say?"
Because Gaea was standing far away, Morgan did not hear clearly; otherwise, she would have definitely stepped forward to ask why the other party knew her sister's name. Her nerves were highly strained right now. After a great battle, her body's magic was already running low, and after another teleportation to return home, she had not expected to encounter this person. Morgan was now like a wounded Beast; if the other party made any move, she would launch an attack.
"Although you look similar, I still think Artoria is more attractive."
Glancing at the 'average level' of Morgan's chest and then thinking of Artoria's 'unscientific' pair of breasts, Gaea thought somewhat rudely. Morgan, on the opposite side, did not know why, but she always felt that the woman in front of her seemed to be mocking her, and a nameless fire burned in her heart.
"Answer my question."
The woman in front of her truly made Morgan wary. Even with anger in her heart, Morgan dared not expose it here. She was nervous inside but pretended to be very calm on the surface, asking Gaea again. She always felt that this woman in front of her was a bit strange; it was as if she were facing an insurmountable mountain. This feeling was very bad, which made Morgan feel very unhappy.
"You don't need to know who I am; I just want to ask if you want to win."
Without answering Morgan's question, Gaea ignored the vigilant Morgan and slowly walked forward. As Gaea approached, Morgan's one-handed knight's sword turned into sand. This scene made Morgan's eyes widen in surprise. This person was actually so powerful that she had changed the matter of her weapon without her even noticing. As the last wisp of sand slipped from Morgan's hand, Gaea walked up to Morgan, gently tapped her on the shoulder, and said in a very seductive tone.
"What is this?"
Feeling that the pain in her body had completely disappeared, Morgan looked at her hands in disbelief. The wounds on the webbing between her thumbs and index fingers had already begun to heal rapidly. A powerful life force entered her body from the spot pointed at by this mysterious woman, replenishing all the magic power that had basically been depleted. All of this surprised Morgan. After recovering, Morgan looked at the woman in front of her with complex emotions. She was simply too powerful; she didn't know who was stronger between her and the Sorcerer Supreme.
"Your body has recovered, so what is your answer?"
Gaea did not care about Morgan's attitude and sat very leisurely on the sofa in the room. The decoration of this ancient castle was not bad and quite to Gaea's liking. She looked around the room and said to Morgan. She was not helping this woman on a whim; she felt that this woman must have some connection with Artoria. She could not find any traces of Artoria on Earth, and such an anomaly made her very curious. She had asked the Ancient One, but the other party would not tell her. Perhaps from this woman in front of her, Gaea could unravel the mystery surrounding Artoria.
"Of course, yes."
