Chapter 251 - Chapter 251: The Unlucky Dark Elves

"What a beautiful Planet. It would be wonderful if it could be pulled into darkness."

To be able to hide from the eyes of the guardian god Heimdall showed just how powerful the black technology of these Dark Elves was. The leader of this group of Dark Elves, stationed near the moon, looked at the Earth ahead with emotion. It seemed he had never seen such a Planet. After admiring the Earth for a while, he ordered his people to continue preparing to descend upon it. His plan was simple: to slaughter all life on the Planet or conquer them to find the Aether.

"Depart."

"Are they here?"

The moment those guys flew into the atmosphere, Gaea sensed them. They came with immense malice and killing intent. No matter how they hid their forms, Gaea could directly feel that they came with ill intent. Her words startled Artoria. Are they here? Who's here? Which one? How did they get here? Artoria looked confused. Why say that all of a sudden? I'm in the middle of eating; you almost scared me.

"It should be the guys who left the coordinates finding their way here. Artoria, what do you plan to do?"

At this, Gaea glanced at Artoria, whose mouth was stuffed with beef, her cheeks bulging like a squirrel's. Remembering what Artoria had instructed her before, Gaea quickly explained the arrival of the uninvited guests and asked what exactly to do. Artoria hadn't told her the specific plan.

"Since they're here, let's transfer them above us! Saturday, how is the firepower system?"

Hearing Gaea's words, Artoria quickly swallowed the beef. She hadn't expected them to arrive so soon; it seemed the opponent's technological level wasn't low! She could probably net some decent spoils of war. Having already decided how to deal with them, Artoria turned on her headset and asked Saturday. Once the setup was complete, the show would begin. Artoria planned to set off some fireworks for these 'guests' to show them just how 'hospitable' Earthlings could be.

"I am very sorry, Master. According to the blueprints, only one-third of the gun ports can be put into use now. The others are still in the process of being connected, so they cannot be used for the time being."

Artoria, who was quite happy, lost her enthusiasm immediately upon hearing Saturday's report. However, Artoria also knew that being able to renovate it to this extent in just two or three short days was already very good. Artoria had no intention of blaming Saturday. Even if only one-third of the gun ports were usable, Artoria felt it would be enough to give those guys a run for their money.

"Transfer them over! Saturday, open all usable gun ports. The target is directly above."

The first half was said to Gaea, and the second half into the headset. After making the arrangements, Artoria put on her Spirit Dress and donned her helmet. Touka was also summoned before her. Artoria prepared to take action personally. Gaea, who was basically obedient to Artoria's words, activated one of her abilities—the same power she used to transfer Galacta and herself. As the Master of this Planet, she could transfer the position of any object within the atmosphere to another location. For example, she could quietly make the Statue of Liberty disappear from the United States and appear in Antarctica.

"What's going on? Is Odin playing tricks?"

The Dark Elf leader, who hated Odin to the bone, believed that the current situation might be Odin's doing. Otherwise, how could they have changed from their projected landing on the ground to suddenly appearing over the sea? This scene made his bone-white face instantly turn livid. He was extremely angry; what on Earth was happening?

"Fire."

After receiving the message from Gaea, Artoria ordered Saturday to launch the attack. Saturday, who didn't hesitate at all with Artoria's orders, aimed the gun ports disguised as giant trees toward the sky above the island and began the attack. Perhaps it was luck, but two energy shells hit the opponent in an instant. The heavily damaged ship began to crash toward the island's ground.

"Woo~!"

Coincidentally, the area below was the base for Kurama, Touka, and Second Fatty. They often sunbathed in this spot. Seeing an unidentified object flying rapidly toward them, Kurama began to howl in a panic. Second Fatty, who was on top of him, was also startled awake. He had been sleeping perfectly fine; how could he be disturbed by this thing? In his desperation, with no one to guide him, Kurama began to condense the Chakra within his body in front of him. A glowing sphere appeared before Kurama, but without external force, it couldn't fly out at all. Kurama opened his mouth and held the ball inside, remembering the posture that silver-white bastard often used to provoke him.

"Pah!"

Without anyone's teaching, Kurama actually learned the Tailed Beast Flash on his own. However, perhaps because it was his first time, when the ball flew out, it was accompanied by a large amount of saliva and a small baby tooth, flying together toward the unidentified object in the sky.

"Leader, there is a high-energy reaction ahead."

"Bang!"

A subordinate in front of the console said this in a panic. Before the leader could even respond, he felt gravity vanish instantly. His entire body floated up as a massive explosion rang out, and their ship disintegrated in mid-air. Not only was the leader bewildered, but Artoria, who was already mounted on Touka and prepared, was also stunned. Where did my big ship go? Why is it gone? The fireworks in the sky are truly beautiful! And things are falling down.

"Even if it's turned into this, maybe there's still something in the wreckage."

Looking at the scattered parts and humanoid figures falling from the sky, Artoria felt she needed to go and salvage her black technology. Otherwise, she estimated not even ash would remain. Artoria rode Touka into the air, looking at the parts scattered everywhere. She was conflicted; she wasn't very proficient with this stuff to begin with, especially since it was all alien technology. Artoria didn't know which parts would be useful, let alone now that it had been blown to bits.

"Just catching one will do."

Thinking of this, Artoria commanded Touka to bite a falling Dark Elf. Although somewhat reluctant, Touka still executed Artoria's order. As for the agonizing wails from being bitten, Artoria automatically ignored them. Anyway, these guys weren't anything good, and it would be best to wipe them out completely. She needed their technology to build better propulsion and Cloaking Systems for the Hyperion. Whether these guys were sliced up or silenced after being used, she would leave that to those women of hers!

"Saturday, release the Battle Spiders for me. If these guys are alive, tie them up. If they are about to breathe their last, send them on their way. If they can still move, beat them until they can't, then capture them. Collect all the ship fragments for me."

"Yes, Master."

Having already caught one live specimen, Artoria hadn't intended to catch more. But thinking they might be warrior types rather than tech types, she decided the more, the merrier! As for those unlucky ones who hit the ground and were dying, she could only send them on their way. After all, Artoria didn't plan to save them; out of humanity, it was better to help them out. Following Artoria's command, one hole after another opened in the ground, and a dense swarm of spiders ran out, beginning to search for ship wreckage and living Dark Elves in the forest. As the wreckage was recovered piece by piece, Artoria's originally depressed mood balanced out quite a bit. She didn't know if the losses could be covered, as she had spent considerable resources building the island just to fight the Dark Elves.

Wondering if she could squeeze what she needed from these guys, Artoria had Touka land on the ground. As soon as Touka landed, he let go, instantly spitting several times as if he hadn't bitten a person but a lump of something stomach-turning.
