[Opening Scene — The Land Of Birds: Forest]
The forest is calm and quiet, birds singing, deer's eating and many other animals doing what they have to do.
A young boy with golden-blonde straight hair that touches his shoulders, deep ocean blue eyes and cloth in an Ash-brown ragged cloak, under the cloak he wears a black form-fit sleeveless turtleneck. Black trousers that's tucked into black, open-toed ninja boots.
{Jun Mori}
Walking through the forest, Jun eventually stops at a cliff, overlooking winding rivers and thick forests. Pulling out a detailed map and his expression goes from calm and neutral to annoyed and irritated.
"And I'm lost." He says to himself in an irritated tone. "This is why I hate fucking animals!!." He shouts, making the animals near him run off scared.
Jun sighs before rolling up and puts the map away as he then jumps off the cliff into the river down below, splashing into the water.
[Scene Shift — Konohagakure: Hokage Office]
The office is neat and not packed with papers, surprisingly for the Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, who wears an unusual serious expression, standing next to him is Shikamaru Nara, who leans on the wall with a lit cigarette between his lips.
Standing in front of Naruto's desk is Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki.
"Why did you call us here, Dad?." Boruto says in his laid-back tone
"I got a mission for you." Naruto replies, searching through some folds.
"A mission? What kind of mission?" Sarada asks in a respectable tone.
"A mission that might take you days, weeks, maybe months for you to finish." Naruto says, which makes Boruto and Sarada raise an eyebrow at each other.
Finally, Naruto takes out the folder he was looking for, before placing it, open, in front of team 7. In the folder is Jun's basic information and a scroll on where he was last seen and wearing.
"Jun Mori?" Sarada says picking up the fold. "As in Jun Mori, the kid that went rogue 7 years ago?."
"Isn't that kid dead by now?" Boruto says.
"No, He's alive." Naruto says, in an unusual tone. "Yesterday afternoon he was spotted entering the land of birds, and I want you three to find him and bring him back."
"Wait wait wait." Boruto says after a moment before continuing. "You want us to search for a rogue kid, last seen entering the land of birds?! That's like several days from here!."
"Yes, and that's why I choose you three, because I know you can do it." Naruto says.
"What? No-"
"We'll take it." Sarada says cutting Boruto off.
"Huhh?!" Boruto shouts.
"If Hokage-sama chose us, that means it's important." Sarada says, putting down the fold and takes the scroll.
"What no- huh? Hey! Wait!" Boruto says as he is dragged out of the office by Sarada, while Mitsuki follows behind with his usual smile. Once the office door closes, Shikamaru takes the cigarette out his mouth and finally speaks.
"Are you sure about sending them?." Shikamaru says
"No." Naruto replies before saying. "But this is all I can think of at the moment."
[Scene Shift — Several Days Later — The Land Of Birds]
After days of walking and rest, team 7 finally made it to the land of tea.
"Alright we made it." Sarada says as she then takes out a map.
"Ok now what?." Boruto says fo.
"We start searching." Sarada answers without looking up at him.
"Search where?! This guy can be anywhere-"
"How about over there?" Mitsuki says cutting Boruto off and pointing at something in the distance. Both Sarada and Boruto turns to where Mitsuki is pointing and sees a black smoke stream in the distance.
"Good eye, Mitsuki." Sarada says before running in the direction of the smoke, Mitsuki smiles before following after her and soon Boruto, who screams internally.
[34 Minutes Later]
After running for a while they come upon a camp fire, approaching the camp, Sarada bent down and touch the ash while Mitsuki looks around.
"That's it? A burning campfire?." Boruto says in an irritated and annoyed tone.
"Judging by this ash this had been burning for days.." Sarada pause. "But why is it still smoking.."
Suddenly a massive explosion nearby alerts everyone.
"What was that?" Boruto says.
"Come on! Let's go!" Sarada says, running to the direction of the explosion, Boruto and Mitsuki follows closely behind.
