In Selene's office...
Selene tells everyone that the have exactly 5 months from now until the Monsoon Carnival begins.
Haru asks where it's happening...
Selene tells him that it is a town flooded during Monsoon season and it is the first area which receives rainfall in Japan... Denjiyon Town...
Haru makes his face in excitement..
Selene tells Haru that they have 2 months before the carnival...
A team is decided... Adryn as leader and other members are Haruto, Yamado and Toxin ( because he has some items that could make the Essence Devil weak and he also requests to go too ).
Haru ask's Selene when is the carnival...
She tells it's last week of June 30th when the holy tree which people of the Denjiyon prays shines during rain....
That tree is made of Essence Devil's roots so it glows during rains after it gets enough moisture. She also says that is also the reason it can't survive outside Denjiyon Town until it finds a perfect host...
Haru ask's them when they need to go to Denjiyon Town...
Adryn says before Monsoon begins...
Yamado marks June 21st on a calendar in the room...
He then says that this is the day he calculated first rain drops will fall...
Which is correct...
Adryn surprised and asks Yamado where does he hides his brain...
They both argue with each other by saying it's too easy for Yamado and Adryn is bad as donkey...
Selene ends their argument....
Now Selene explains why they need to go their before Monsoon begins... Because, after they pass through a very long tunnel ( while they are going there ) there waterfall flowing from the tunnel above and during small amount of rain it floods the entire area and so the Town remains hidden during that time because it's Hard to reach their.
Intense atmosphere builds over the room...
Yamado and Haru asks what if the Essence Devil never shows up...
Selene shows them the clip ( from last chapter MONSOON CARNIVAL PROLOGUE THE SCOUT WHO SMELLED RAIN ).
Yamado and Haru gets goosebumps...
They realise that it's hard to kill the giant devil during rainy season, they also gets surprised when she says it only appears during Monsoon because it is the only time it can achieve that giant form. She suspects that it will be back more powerful than last time when Adryn managed to make it weak...
They both do not get surprised when they hear Adryn managed to make it weak ( they heared it multiple times and also know Adryn is very powerful ).
Selene says that the scout who recorded this is Regi ( shown in last chapter ) who was former Exorcist Member but retired at an early age due to him losing his power and due to his Trauma he decided to retire but, after sometime return to become a scout of Denjiyon Town ( The only scout there ) and help them kill the Essence Devil...
Adryn pats their heads and says that they are going to become powerful as him because the next two months they are going to go through hell...
Yamado and Haru thinks what does Adryn means by that...
Adryn tells Yamado and Haru is going to train with him.
Yamado says no, Adryn says it's fine because he knows Yamado can do it on his own. Yamado says he is going to get help from Drako ( not introduced yet but will be soon ).
Selene tells them to go on with their training session because their is more time and kicks three of them out...
Haru asks Adryn what is he going to teach him with fire in his eyes, Yamado runs away in fear and Adryn after Yamado runs away tells him...
He is going to bring Haru's new form out with his training....
Haru asks what is is it and Adryn says a Devil's visison....
( Put simply, Adryn plan's to slowly make The Crimson Devil's whole body under Haru's control and to make Haru a powerful Exorcist. He did this by first making Haru control the Devil's flow ).
They both leave....
