Root Devil attacks Regi and Toxin.
It attacks using its roots.
Regi dodges it.
He uses his sword, while Toxin uses acid to burn its skin.
"Aaah… why you… kid," Root Devil says.
Root Devil charges at Toxin due to anger.
Regi attacks from behind, cutting its head.
"Forgot about me… you devil," Regi says.
Its head reattaches instantly, using its roots.
Shocked expressions appear on Regi, Toxin, and Riya, who is watching from afar.
"It's just beginning…" Root Devil says.

"Why are you all standing there? The other two have already started their fight," Essence Devil says.
"Crimson Fists!" Haru uses.
Haru's move hits, but it doesn't even scratch Essence Devil.
"That hit the spot… I was itching there," Essence Devil says.
"You arrogant bastard… you're pissing me off," Yamado says.
Yamado strikes the devil with his sword, but the sword is broken.
"You think you can defeat me with that sword? You both are weaklings," Essence Devil says.
"Why does this presence feel familiar… Who is he? I haven't felt this in ages…" Essence Devil thinks after sensing something from Haru.
"Just… go away, you annoying one," Essence Devil says to Yamado.
Essence Devil uses Essence Beam.
The attack goes straight toward Yamado.
"Air Ball!" Adryn says.
He deflects the Essence Beam.
"As expected… you are the powerhouse among these guys," Essence Devil says.
Adryn smirks.
"Why are you just standing there? Fight me," Essence Devil says.
"You are weak," Adryn replies.
He smiles at the devil.
The devil gets angry.
"Why you…!" Essence Devil roars.
"You are pissing me off!" Essence Devil screams.

Fight vs Root Devil…
"Look… it's over. My master has finally gotten angry," Root Devil says.
Regi feels goosebumps.
"Wooo… look at you, scared," Root Devil taunts.
Root Devil attacks Regi.
"It's using multiple tentacles…" Regi thinks.
"I should at least save Toxin… should I tell him to run away?" Regi thinks.

Fight vs Essence Devil…
"Why the hell is he screaming?" Yamado asks.
"Yamado, focus. Think of every possibility before you attack," Adryn says.
"Got it," Yamado replies.
Essence Devil moves forward. Its eyes glow blue.
Yamado is unable to move due to the Devil's aura.
"Why can't I move…" Yamado thinks.
"I think your time is up, kiddo," Essence Devil says.
"No… no… this can't be… I can't die now… I have to save Shimi… and the others… I have to reunite Team 5," Yamado thinks.
"I guess this is it… sorry Haru, I couldn't keep my promise," Yamado thinks.
Essence Devil fires Essence Beam.
"Crimson Fists!" Haru counters.
He deflects the beam.
"How is this possible… this kid… could it be…" Essence Devil thinks.
"Thanks to Toxin's medicine, I regained all my energy. Thank you, Toxin," Haru says.
"Well, well, well… isn't this funny? I'm having a hard time fighting kids," Essence Devil says.
"I may be a kid, but if someone needs me, I won't hesitate to help them," Haru says.
"Let's fight together, Haru. I can finally move from this overwhelming aura," Yamado says.
"So you both have surpassed my aura… now let's see if you can keep up," Essence Devil says.

Fight vs Root Devil…
"How is this guy still fighting?" Root Devil wonders.
Regi's body is shown. His hands are covered in blood.
Not his own—but the devil's, which is blue in color.
"I can't stop now… I just need to buy time or wear this thing out," Regi thinks.
"Hey Toxin… I think they need you more than me. Go help them," Regi says.
"But Regi-san… can you fight this thing alone?" Toxin asks.
"I said go help them. Don't worry about me," Regi replies.
"But you are already—" Toxin says.
"How many times do I have to tell you? Go help them. They need you more than me," Regi insists.
"Okay… take care, Regi-san," Toxin says.
Toxin leaves to join the fight against Essence Devil.
"You think you can take me alone? How brave," Root Devil says.
"Shut up. You can't kill me yet," Regi replies.
"But I know your weakness…" Root Devil says.
Regi looks puzzled.
"Your daughter," Root Devil reveals.
"How… how did you know?" Regi asks.
"It's simple. I am the Mayor of this town," Root Devil says.
The devil uses its roots.
A root moves toward the window where Riya is watching the fight.
"Say goodbye to your dear daughter, Regi," Root Devil says.
Riya stares at it.
"Father… don't worry about me. Just do your job," Riya says.
Riya closes her eyes, accepting her fate.
But Regi intervenes.
He steps between the root and Riya.
The root pierces through Regi's stomach.
"Father!" Riya shouts.
The others do not notice, as they are still fighting Essence Devil.
"How can I let my dear daughter die in front of me…" Regi says.
"I pity you, Regi… you should have let the kid die," Root Devil says.
"F**k off… I will not let another daughter of mine die," Regi says.
Regi slowly loses consciousness.
