An advertisement for the Super Fight Tournament was playing on TV.
The host enthusiastically announced, "The 22nd Super Fight Tournament is about to begin! The champion's prize money is a whopping 30 million yen!"
Allen watched the TV screen and suddenly remembered the plot of the Martial Arts Tournament in the original work.
He turned to Saitama and asked, "Saitama-kun, do you want to participate in this competition with me? There might be many masters."
This Martial Arts Tournament was a great opportunity for Allen; Gouketsu, Bakuzan, and Suiryu were all excellent targets.
Saitama scratched his bald head. "30 million, huh… That could buy a lot of high-grade wagyu beef."
"Then I'll sign up too." Saitama scratched his bald head… In an underground laboratory, a man with black hair partially covering his face stood in the gloom. In front of him, a screen glowed green, displaying various photos and videos of Allen and Saitama.
The man was Dr. Genus, the creator of the House of Evolution.
"They will make good samples," Dr. Genus pushed up his glasses.
"Even if I have to use force, I must study their bodies."
"Send an envoy to invite them over. Host them at our House of Evolution." Dr. Genus stared intently at the screen, his expression somewhat excited… "Thump, thump, thump." The door of the rental apartment was knocked.
"Who is it?" Allen, wearing pajamas, groggily opened the door.
He rubbed his sleepy eyes, then looked closely and saw Genos standing at the entrance.
"Senior, is Teacher at your place?" Genos asked politely.
"Saitama isn't here. He probably went to the supermarket," Allen shook his head.
A red light flashed in Genos's mechanical eyes. "Understood. Senior, I just discovered some abnormal activity while on patrol."
"What kind of activity?" Allen leaned against the doorframe, a hint of excitement flashing in his eyes.
He was about to go to the dojo to train. If it was the House of Evolution, he would take the day off.
"Something is approaching at high speed!" Genos tensed, adopting an offensive stance. With Teacher Saitama absent, it was his duty to protect Senior Allen!
"Here it comes," Genos whispered.
"Caw!" A green figure attacked from above, its sharp scythe-like forelimbs cutting through the corridor's railing as if it were tofu.
"My name is…"
"Bang!" Allen's eyes glowed faintly green. Before the Mantis Man could even announce his name, he exploded into a puddle of green goo in mid-air.
The viscous liquid splattered onto Allen's Psychokinesis barrier, slowly sliding off.
He looked at the green bloodstain on the ground with a disgusted expression, then turned to Genos and said, "There might be danger later, so pay attention. I don't want to be distracted."
"Ah… Yes!" Genos looked at the calm Allen with some surprise. As expected of Teacher Saitama's neighbor, he was indeed a strong individual.
"There are two more outside, Genos. Go clean them up. I'll go change first." Allen looked at his pajamas. Going to the House of Evolution like this wouldn't do.
"Two more…?" Genos cautiously looked around, his mechanical eyes constantly scanning the surroundings. He detected the Frog Man and the Slug Man standing downstairs.
"There really are two more." Genos was somewhat surprised. If the Frog Man and Slug Man hadn't actively entered his scanning range, he probably wouldn't have noticed them.
The super perception achieved through technology was one of Genos's strengths, yet Senior Allen was just a human. How could his perception be even stronger than his own?
"I heard the Mantis Man who went first was instantly killed," the Slug Man said with a trembling voice.
"My telepathy didn't detect him," the Slug Monster's forehead was sweating.
"Uh, didn't they say the opponent wasn't strong?" The Frog Man's left foot slightly shifted back, looking like he wanted to run.
Genos leaped down and landed in front of the Slug Man and Frog Man, only to find them already smashed into a pit.
"What's with smashing the railing for no reason? Don't you know how to use the front door?" Saitama, carrying his groceries, lectured the two Monster with a face full of black lines.
"Teacher Saitama!" Genos exclaimed with delight.
Just then, a pair of claws suddenly appeared, ready to drag Saitama into the pit.
"Teacher, look out!" Genos immediately entered combat mode, his mechanical arm rapidly transforming.
However, in the next second, the Mole Monster attempting the sneak attack was yanked directly out of the ground, as if grabbed by an invisible hand.
"What is this?" Allen, now changed, walked out of the room.
With a thought, he lifted the Mole Monster into the air.
The Mole Monster struggled frantically in mid-air but could not break free from Allen's Psychokinesis.
"You're from the House of Evolution, aren't you?" Allen asked coldly.
Genos looked on in surprise. "Senior, you know the origin of these Monster?"
"I can read minds," Allen said without changing his expression.
Saitama scratched his bald head. "House of Evolution? Sounds like a place that sells health supplements."
Allen pulled the Mole Monster closer. "Take us to Dr. Genus."
"You! How do you know the Doctor's name?!" The Mole Monster's eyes widened in terror.
"I told you I can read minds. Do you villains not listen when people talk?" Allen impatiently increased the Psychokinesis pressure, and the Mole Monster twisted unnaturally.
"Stop talking nonsense. Lead the way, or I'll crush you right now."
The Mole Monster nodded painfully. "I'll lead the way! I'll lead the way!"
Saitama, holding his grocery basket, said, "Um… can I put my groceries away first?"
"Teacher, our top priority right now should be to investigate the mastermind," Genos said somewhat anxiously.
"Go ahead, I'll just call Teacher Bang to take the day off." Allen took out his phone and dialed Bang's number.
Genos looked at Allen and Saitama's relaxed and casual attitude, a flicker of confusion in his mechanical eyes.
He couldn't understand why, in the face of such an obvious threat, Teacher Saitama and Senior Allen could remain so composed.
"Teacher, Senior Allen, shouldn't we act immediately?" Genos couldn't help but ask.
"These Monster are clearly an organized attack."
Saitama placed the grocery basket on the ground and scratched his bald head. "Ah, but my special-priced eggs will go bad if I don't put them in the fridge soon."
"Then hurry up and put them away. That's the important thing," Allen nodded in agreement.
Saitama slowly and leisurely walked up the stairs, carrying his grocery basket.
"High energy reaction detected ahead." Just as Saitama went upstairs, a mechanical voice suddenly came from behind Genos.
"Boom!" The wall behind Genos exploded, smoke and dust billowed, and debris flew everywhere.
A huge figure, about three meters tall, was vaguely visible in the smoke. Genos looked at the figure in the smoke and cautiously adopted a battle stance.
As the dust settled, a gorilla-shaped robot appeared before Genos, its massive silver armor covering its entire body.
