Chapter 78 - Chapter 78 Hero Hunting Plan!

"Hmph, lead the way." Tornado crossed her arms, floating in the air and following Okamoto towards the elevator.

Tornado and the others arrived at the top floor. Allen was currently discussing mission details with Chairman Sitch when he suddenly turned his head, as if sensing something, and saw the office door open.

A petite figure floated in, looking down at Allen from above: "You're the Rookie?"

Allen looked up at the floating green-haired girl and immediately recognized this S-Class Hero, ranking second.

He raised an eyebrow: "Terrible Tornado."

A ridiculous thought flashed through Allen's mind: she wouldn't be his partner for this mission, would she?

Impossible, he immediately dismissed his judgment. After all, Tornado was famously a loner, so she shouldn't be here to team up with him.

Tornado might partner with him for a mission, but it wasn't very likely that Tornado would partner with him for a mission.

"Good that you know." Tornado lifted her chin slightly.

She crossed her arms, constantly scrutinizing this newly promoted S-Class Hero: "I heard you're going to the Z-City No Mans Land to investigate a newly appeared Dragon-Level disaster?"

Allen nodded: "Yes, the Association arranged it."

He looked at Tornado, feeling a bit curious. There weren't many Monster that required her personal intervention. What mission did the Association assign her?

Tornado snorted softly and floated in front of Allen: "Rookie, for this mission, you only need to lead the way. Leave everything else to me."

Allen frowned upon hearing this. He looked at the petite girl in front of him, feeling a bit surprised. Allen's original plan of acting alone was completely disrupted. Would Tornado, the lone wolf, actually team up with someone?

"Lead the way?" Allen narrowed his eyes, meeting the gaze of Tornado, who was floating in the air.

"I'm used to acting alone." Faint green Psychokinesis ripples emanated from around him.

Tornado's green curly hair moved without wind, and the surrounding air began to distort: "Rookie, are you refusing my cooperation?"

She had agreed to cooperate this time because she wanted to see what this newly promoted Psychokinesis user was like. Now, it seemed, he was just a Rookie who didn't know his place.

The Psychokinesis fields between Allen and Tornado fiercely collided in the air. Various objects in the office began to float slightly, and Chairman Sitch and Okamoto quickly retreated a few steps.

The operator Okamoto instantly broke out in a sweat. Didn't they say Allen was easy to get along with? How did he immediately clash with Tornado?

Calming down, Sitch hurriedly stepped forward: "Both of you, please calm down first!"

"Shut up!" Tornado thought, and Chairman Sitch was completely pressed down into his chair by an invisible force: "This is between me and this Rookie who doesn't know his place!"

Allen was not to be outdone. He also pressed the operator Okamoto, whom Tornado had brought along, into his chair.

As the two confronted each other, tiny cracks began to appear in the office windows. Sitch and Okamoto were pressed into their chairs by two powerful forces, sweating profusely.

"Interesting." Tornado narrowed her eyes, looking at the young man in front of her. The feeling this Psychokinesis gave her was surprisingly similar to that of her sister, Fubuki.

Although Tornado wasn't using her full power, she could feel that the other party's Psychokinesis was much stronger than Fubuki's. If it were her sister, she would have already been firmly pinned to the ground by now.

The Psychokinesis collision between Allen and Tornado lasted for several seconds. The pressure in the office intensified, and various documents and papers flew through the air.

Just as the tension was rising, Chairman Sitch suddenly shouted: "Both of you! Please stop! My old bones can't take it anymore!"

Tornado snorted and was the first to retract her Psychokinesis: "Hmph, consider yourself lucky."

Allen also slowly reined in his power, but his gaze remained fixed on Tornado. He vowed that if he got the chance, he would definitely make this guy cry.

"Since neither of you is willing to cooperate." Sitch wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Then let's act separately."

Tornado crossed her arms, floating in the air and looking down at Allen: "Rookie, since you're unwilling to cooperate, then let's each rely on our own abilities."

"But don't say I didn't warn you. If you encounter danger, don't expect me to save you."

Allen shrugged: "Suits me perfectly. I'll hunt down the newly appeared Dragon-Level Monster before you."

The operator Okamoto wiped the cold sweat from his forehead: "In that case, Allen will be responsible for investigating the Z-City No Mans Land, and Ms. Tornado will be responsible for investigating the outskirts of Z-City."

"Please report any findings to the Association immediately."

"I'll show you the difference between us." Tornado snorted and left Sitch's office.

Seeing Tornado leave, Allen turned to Sitch and said: "Give me a copy of the information. I'll go investigate the No Mans Land tomorrow."

Sitch nodded, took out a stack of documents and a communicator from a drawer, and handed them to him: "Take this. If you encounter danger, we can provide support."

"Okay, I understand." After Allen took the documents and communicator, he turned and left the office.

The operator Okamoto looked at Allen's departing back with some worry: "If the Monster Association really exists, can we truly provide timely rescue?"

Chairman Sitch patted his shoulder: "Relax, the Monster Association cannot truly exist."

"Even if those Monster, whose minds are full of destruction, formed an organization, they would disband due to conflict."

After Allen left the Hero Association Headquarters, he began to examine the information Sitch had provided him.

He carefully flipped through the documents, the rustling of pages becoming faster and faster, and the expression on his face grew increasingly grim. Wasn't this Dragon-Level Monster himself?

"Snap!" Allen abruptly closed the documents, his mouth twitching slightly. He hadn't expected that his actions of testing his strength last night would be mistaken for the appearance of a Dragon-Level Monster.

"The Dragon-Level Monster is gone…" Allen rubbed his temples.

After all that, it turned out he was investigating himself. He had thought that since One-Punch Man didn't have this plotline, it was a butterfly effect caused by himself, leading to the birth of some new Dragon-Level Monster.

However, on second thought, since the Association thought he was a Monster, he could wear his bio-armor every day and beat up Heroes. If there were no Monster, he would use them to advance his progress.

Allen returned to his rented room. With a thought, the black and red bio-armor instantly covered his entire body. The dark red patterns flowing on the armor's surface emitted a dangerous aura. The figure in the mirror showed no relation to Allen whatsoever.

"It's cool, but it doesn't really feel like a Monster." Allen nodded in satisfaction, flexing his wrists, and the armor joints immediately made "click-clack" sounds.

Since the Association believed this was a newly appeared Dragon-Level Monster, he could completely use this misunderstanding to get more combat opportunities.

Perhaps during Allen's implementation of his Hero hunting plan, he might even receive an invitation from the Monster Association.
