Chapter 101 - The Sky Falls

The Six Powers flowed flawlessly through Roldy's body.

Finger Pistol strikes dazzled the eye as they relentlessly targeted every weak point of the Gyūki. Reinforced Iron Body hardened him like steel as he viciously smashed his forehead into his opponent. Paper Arts allowed him to evade Saint Warcury's counterattacks time and time again. His mastery of Shave (Six Powers) let him burst forward in less than a hundredth of a second, rendering his movements ghostlike. With Geppo (Six Powers), he stepped through the air, maintaining combat ability no different from fighting on solid ground.

It was a magnificent feast of violence.

Wild, unstructured attacks—more beast than man—left Warcury struggling.

His defense was astonishing. His hide was absurdly thick, and his Armament Haki was powerful. But Roldy was an exception.

Roldy's Armament Haki was something he had possessed since birth.

Now, it had grown to an incomprehensible level. No weapon could surpass the density of his Haki—let alone mere flesh.

"Brat, don't push your luck!"

Fury boiling over, Warcury roared. His two massive tusks became coated in thick Armament Haki, curving forward like giant scimitars as they pierced toward Roldy.

This was an attack carrying strength surpassing even that of giants—something even elite Giant warriors or elders would not dare take head-on.

Yet Roldy seemed exhilarated.

He had found prey worthy of delight.

His heartbeat thundered louder and louder—boom, boom, boom—like war drums. Even those fighting across the battlefield were momentarily distracted.

Rocks D. Xebec kicked apart a massive sandworm in front of him. Shiki the Golden Lion crushed the iron hooves of the skeletal warhorse beneath his blades. Both men turned simultaneously.

What they saw stunned them.

Roldy, already fifteen meters tall, began expanding once more.

Through his solid muscles, something writhed beneath his skin—

His bones.

Crackling sounds echoed continuously as his body inflated like a balloon.

Warcury's charging momentum faltered.

Originally, his tusks had been aimed at Roldy's chest.

Now?

Were they meant to strike his knee?

Forty-five meters tall.

Towering like a pillar that pierced the heavens.

His body had tripled in size.

Such mass brought unimaginable strength. Blood surged violently through Roldy's veins, boundless power flooding his arms. The intoxicating sensation made him throw his head back and roar.

Nothing was more addictive than absolute power.

The mountain-like Gyūki before him now looked like a freshly weaned piglet.

Roldy's hand descended like the hand of a god from the heavens. His speed was strangely distorted as five fingers clamped down upon the Gyūki's skull.

His Giant bloodline erupted.

With one hand restraining the head and the combined amplification of both Mink and Giant bloodlines, his already monstrous strength surged to new heights. Add the Moa Moa no Mi's thirtyfold power increase—

If Warcury wished to escape, he would have to abandon his own head.

Roldy's other hand seized the comparatively softer abdomen.

Then—

With a powerful step against the air, he launched upward once more, dragging the Gyūki with him.

Higher.

Higher still.

Until the two figures vanished from sight.

"Saint Warcury!"

The remaining Four Elders' expressions darkened.

In terms of sinister abilities, the Gyūki could not match the Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Gyūki's grotesque counterparts among them. In pure combat skill, he trailed others. In regeneration, he was inferior. In speed and mobility, he fell short as well.

But—

In raw strength?

He was unquestionably the strongest of the Five Elders.

The Gyūki was the battlefield's tank.

And now—

That living fortress had been completely suppressed in power by another.

Roldy's physical might had already stunned them.

His Observation Haki was weak—so weak that even a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral might surpass him. That was his only flaw.

But his overwhelming strength and durability compensated entirely.

With the Moa Moa no Mi's amplification, Roldy's power had surpassed the conventional boundaries of Admiral-level fighters.

And this boy—

This boy they had forced out of the Marines—

Had not even turned eighteen.

Humans required years more to reach adulthood.

Giants, even longer.

He still had over a decade of growth ahead of him.

Though not yet the strongest on the seas, he had firmly stepped into Admiral-level combat power.

And given his monstrous physique and strength, killing him would be no easier than killing the highly mobile Shiki.

In that instant, Roldy's threat level in their minds rose to the same tier as Whitebeard and the Golden Lion.

No—

Perhaps even beyond Rocks himself.

Chapter 97: The Sky Falls (2 / 2)

As the Elders wavered in thought, Edward Newgate, Wang Zhi, Silver Axe, and Captain John arrived one after another.

World Government reinforcements surged as well. From the shoreline, support forces were less than five minutes from the battlefield.

The escalation was inevitable.

The elites of the Rocks Pirates seized the moment, storming in and efficiently cutting down enemy combatants. Meanwhile, several unfortunate members of the Holy Knights—having failed to find worthy opponents—arrived at this battlefield after disposing of lesser foes.

Enemies met with bloodshot eyes.

The Division Commanders of the Rocks Pirates quickly became their chosen targets.

"That boy must not be given time to grow."

The Five Elders possessed countless secret methods—including a form of mental communication.

Excluding Saint Warcury, who was fully focused on Roldy, the other four reached a decision.

Rocks D. Xebec could not leave this war alive.

That was mandatory.

The Division Commanders were also on their kill list.

Originally, they intended to eliminate them in order.

But now—

Roldy, Seventh Division Commander of the Rocks Pirates, had surpassed even Whitebeard on their priority list.

Whitebeard was strong. The Golden Lion was strong.

If they survived, it was obvious they would become the next rulers of the seas after Rocks.

But their strength was still within manageable limits.

Roldy was different.

He was too young.

Years away from his prime.

If not eliminated now—

He would become the king of the new era.

The next Rocks.

Perhaps—

Even more troublesome.

And just as they resolved themselves—

From the heavens came a sound as though the world itself were falling.

"The Sky… Falls!!!"

Roldy descended from ten thousand meters above, both hands restraining the Gyūki.

His speed was beyond what the naked eye could track.

When they were less than a thousand meters from the ground, those colossal arms—like pillars supporting the sky—swung violently.

The mountain-sized Gyūki was hurled mercilessly toward the earth.
