Chapter 10 - The Bond

VIVIENNE's POV

Sasha?

The name alone left a ashy taste on my tongue.

My chest burned, my heart thumping loudly like it was going to be ripped apart.

She was back?!

My breath caught, my hand tightening into fist by my side.

''Come on.''

Rhys commanding tone cut through my thoughts.

He didn't bother glancing up. He turned around and walked away, his steps hurried.

Like he was so excited to see Sasha.

A burning sensation whirled around my chest and I curled my hand into fists to keep myself at bay.

''Viv.'' Maddox voice was barely above a whisper, jolting me from my reverie.

That was when I noticed he was still standing there, completely spaced out.

He lingered for one excruciating second, his build towering over me.

Then slowly, his eyes dropped to the damp fabric of my dress, tracing the outline of my thighs.

I froze, swallowing as my thighs pressed against each other, my hand involuntarily reaching to cover the front of my dress.

He chuckled, a cruel devastating smirk cutting across his handsome face.

Dammit!

My legs shook, my breath hitching as he started to lean closer, that cruel smirk still plastered across his lips.

His voice was barely above a whisper. ''You reek of arousal, Viv. Get help.''

The disgust in his tone stopped the air in my lungs.

My vision tunneled, the wetness in my legs drying up instantly.

Without saying a word, I shoved past him and bolted down the corridor, my heart hammering loudly against my chest, I could swear the whole pack heard it.

I didn't stop running, my legs drumming against the marble floor until I ran into my bedroom and slammed it shut behind me.

Fuck Maddox! Fuck Rhys! Fuck Cassian!

And hell…Fuck me!

My breathing came in uneven gasps, my back pressing against the hard wood as I gripped my chest tightly.

With shaking hands, I reached down and slid off my underwear.

They were soaked—completely ruined by the games Maddox had played with my head, with my body.

I threw them into the hamper with a curse, my chest heaving as the sheer weight of past trauma came rushing back like a tidal wave.

Sasha.

My absolute best friend even before i met Fiona, Roman or even the triplets.

The girl I had shared secrets with, the one person I thought would never hurt me.

And she had destroyed me in the most calculated, ruthless way possible.

She knew, knew exactly how much I liked the triplets, how I pined for them, how my foolish heart had built up a fantasy around those three dark, unattainable triplets.

And she had used that knowledge to humiliate and embarrass me in front of the entire pack, reducing me to a laughingstock.

I took a deep, shuddering breath, forcing the tears back.

I refused to cry over her anymore.

I pulled a clean pair of lace underwear from my drawer, sliding them up my thighs, trying to summon an ounce of the dignity she had stripped from me years ago.

I smoothed down my dress, my jaw clenching.

I couldn't hide in this room like a coward while she paraded around my packhouse.

I needed to face it.

Needed to face her.

I gripped the handle of the door and pulled it open, stepping down the grand staircase and straight for the main foyer.

I could smell it before I even got there.

The nauseating smell of her honey bee perfume.

My legs glued to the floor as I spotted them at the center of the hall.

The triplets stood in a tight circle, their massive broad backs facing me. Sasha was standing in front of them, her eyes gleaming brightly as she stared at them dreamily.

She looked exactly the same—blonde hair, plump lips and a shit load of curves.

As if feeling my gaze on her, her eyes slowly left the triplets and fell on me.

Slowly, a menacing smile marred across her lips as a triumphant gleam flashed in her gaze.

''Sash—''

My words caught in my throat as I watched her reach up and wrap her hand tightly around Rhys neck.

I froze, my eyes going two shades wider.

Sasha smirked then pulled him down before crashing her lips against his.

My breath hitched, my chest tightening.

I waited for the rejection, waited for him to violently push her away.

Everyone in Crescent moon pack knew the triplets. They were carnal, loose, and entirely detached.

They never slept with the same woman twice.

They used females for their base desires, discarded them, and never looked back.

Except…the rumors.

A few years ago, whispers had rippled through the territory that Sasha was different.

Pack members speculated that she was their true mate, a bond so rare and powerful it defied their usual cold nature. But neither the triplets nor Sasha had ever confirmed it.

They had left the pack, carrying the answers of the rumors with them.

And now, the truth felt like it was tearing through my gut.

Rhys didn't push her away.

Instead, his large hands gripped her waist, pulling her flush against his massive frame.

His hand tightened around her waist and he returned the kiss with a satiating hunger, deepening it until Sasha let out a soft moan against his lips.

My jaws ticked, my hand curling into fist as my nails dug into the flesh of my palm till it begged for a release.

Cassian's eyes caught mine, a knowing smirk spreading across his lips.

I knew what was going to happen next, I should leave!

But my legs were trembling, grounded to the floor with no way out.

I watched with burning eyes as Cassian reached forward and wrapped his large, calloused hand around Sasha's ass, squeezing the flesh tightly through her jeans.

She whimpered into the kiss with Rhys, her back arching as she dug her nails into the thickness of his hair.

The kiss went on for a while, the sound echoing in the quiet foyer.

She slowly pulled away from Rhys, her chest heaving heavily from the aftermath of the kiss.

Then she corked me a small glance and turned to Cassian.

She captured his lips next, kissing him fiercely while her hand slid down the front of Maddox's jeans, boldly rubbing against the thick bulge straining against his pants.

Maddox didn't flinch, didn't act surprised.

He let out a low, guttural moan of approval, his eyes darkening as he watched her play with them.

My body trembled, my vision tunneling as I gripped my wrist tighter, unable to flee the scene.

Finally, Sasha pulled away from the brothers, a smug, breathless purr vibrating in her throat.

She ran a hand through her hair seductively, smoothening it. Before turning to me, our eyes locking.

I froze, my heart drumming against my chest as I watched her walked forward, her strides slow and hips swaying with a sickening confidence.

She stopped just in front of me and offered a forced smile. "Vivienne," she cooed, her voice dripping with artificial warmth. "It's so nice to see you again."

Before I could even process the fake greeting, she leaned in close, her breath fanning against my ear as she murmured, "Though... not exactly in the same position we last saw each other, hm?"

The underlying taunt hit me like a stake to the chest.

She was reminding me, clear as day, that she could still command the attention of the triplets whenever she pleased, while I was left on the sidelines, starving for a scrap of their focus.

I gritted my teeth so hard, my jaws ached.

My eyes burned into her face, my head twirling with the memory of the betrayal.

I remembered it vividly.

We had been sitting in my room and Sasha had been brushing my hair, her lips wide with a smile. '' Vivienne, I swear I overheard them.'' She whispered excitedly. ''I think the triplets wants to ask you out tonight.''

My eyes had brightened.

I was happy, so happy that all my hardwork in pursuing the triplets had finally paid off. That they finally saw me.

Sasha had picked out the dress, done my makeup and even given me advice on how to react. 'Go up to their private quarters in a few hours. You can surprise them before they surprise you.'

Like a naive little bitch, I believed her.

I had waited, counted down every agonizing minutes with a giddy smile.

When the time finally came, I practically bolted to their room, almost tripping on my dress.

But as I reached the heavy mahogany door, the smile died on my face. Loud, unmistakable wet sounds of someone being brutally fucked filled the corridor.

I heard the triplets first, their deep guttural moan.

My hands shooo violently and the only thing I wanted to do was run, escape the humiliation.

Then I heard her.

My own best friend moaning alongside the triplets.

I was stupid, so stupid that for a moment, I actually thought they were forcing her into it.

Until I pushed open the door with red eyes and found her on all fours, her head whirled to the back in euphoria as Maddox pumped into her from behind.

Cassian was standing at the edge, his fingers tangled viciously in her hair, forcing her head down onto his thick dick as she took him in.

Meanwhile, Rhys was hovering over her side, his large hands brutally squeezing her breasts as if they were the only things keeping him tethered to earth.

My breath caught in my throat, a choked sob escaping me.

At the sound, their movements stopped.

I didn't know what to expect but Maddox face twisting with irritation was not it.

He pulled out of Sasha and pointed to the door. 'Get the fuck out, Vivienne!' he roared, his voice reverberating in the room.

I flinched, my body trembling.

'God, she's so fucking desperate.' Cassian and Rhys murmured under their breaths at the same time.

But I heard it.

My chest burned but I still turned to Sasha, silently begging her to explain.

To tell me what the fuck was going on and why she was the one in that position and not me.

But she didn't say anything.

Instead, she slowly stood up from the bed, entirely naked, her body glistening with sweat. She walked right up to me without a shred of shame.

My stomach turned as I looked at her face. Her lips were smeared with Cassian's cum and her nipples were hard and dark from their touch.

A small, wicked smile had broken across her face. She looked at my shattered expression and chuckled. 'You really are desperate, Viv. That's why you could never get them.'

I had stuttered, my chest heaving as I took a step back. 'W-What do you mean? You told me... you told me they were going to ask me out tonight...'

Sasha had burst into a cruel, ringing laugh, clutching her stomach as if it were the funniest joke she had ever heard. Then, she her face had morphed into hatred, leaning in to whisper, 'I just wanted you to see reality, sweetie.'

A sharp, stinging pain in my hand violently snapped me out of the memory.

I blinked, breaking out of the reverie and looked down.

I had squeezed my fist so tightly, it had bled, the blood slowly dropping to the floor.

I unclenched my fist and turned my gaze from Sasha to the triplets whose eyes were now laced on me.

I had never hated them so much.
