Chapter 123 - The Painted Earth

A tapestry of petals, soft and bright,

Awakens in the early morning light.

Where velvet roses blush in deep carmine,

And morning glories round the trellis twine.

The lilies stand like trumpets made of snow,

As golden marigolds begin to glow.

A perfume hangs upon the summer breeze,

To court the honeybees among the trees.

The daisies wear their crowns of yellow sun,

To tell the world the winter's reign is done.

With lavender that hums a purple song,

Where weary hearts and tired eyes belong.

A hidden path of pebbles, cool and gray,

Invites the wandering soul to come and stay.

To watch the tulips dance in rows of fire,

And see the sunflowers reaching ever higher.

The garden is a cathedral made of green,

The quietest palace that the eye has seen.

Where every bud is a promise yet to break,

For every dreaming spirit to awake.

Each petal is a letter, thin and frail,

Telling a silent, sweet, and blooming tale.
