Chapter 142 - Chapter 142: Full Area Coverage

Qin Yu pushed Li Ruobing away from his embrace.

He rolled out of bed.

Those powerful muscle lines were fully exposed under the morning light.

He walked to the floor-to-ceiling window.

Looking out at the vast, gray sea.

On the radar screen.

The few scattered red dots.

Had now merged into a sea of red.

Dense and countless.

Closing in from all directions.

The nearest ones.

Were already less than fifty nautical miles away.

"Ruo Bing."

"Hmm?" Li Ruobing lazily responded, still savoring the lingering sensations from moments ago.

"Stop sleeping."

"Wake Yao Xue and Xiao Ya up too."

Qin Yu's voice was very calm.

As if he were discussing what to have for breakfast today.

But to Li Ruobing's ears, it made every hair on her body stand on end.

"What for?"

Qin Yu turned around.

Backlit.

His eyes held no warmth.

Only a suffocating madness.

"Work."

"Today's fish."

"Are too many."

"If the net isn't pulled tight enough."

"It might burst."

...

On the deck.

Qi Chun, with two heavy dark circles under his eyes, was directing his crew to repair the protective shield of the Floating Fortress.

He hadn't slept a wink last night.

Out of fear.

Even though Qin Yu's ship was right beside him.

Watching the enemy attack signals on the radar, glowing red to the point of purple.

His little heart never stopped trembling.

"How many people are there, damn it..."

Qi Chun held the binoculars, his hands shaking.

On the horizon.

The dark silhouettes of ships were already visible.

Not just a few.

Nor dozens.

But hundreds!

All kinds of vessels.

Modified fishing boats, armored yachts, and even a few large ships that looked like warships.

Like a pack of sharks that had caught the scent of blood.

Surrounding this stretch of sea, leaving no gaps.

"Crazy... they're all damn crazy..."

"Is this the power of the Hunting Decree?"

Qi Chun glanced back at the "President" beside him, as quiet as a stone.

"Brother Yu..."

"Did we go too far this time?"

Just then.

The loudspeaker on the "President" sounded.

"Fatty."

Qi Chun jolted, quickly picking up the walkie-talkie.

"Brother Yu! I'm here!"

"Turn off your protective shield."

"Huh?!"

Qi Chun thought he had misheard.

"Turn... turn it off?"

"Brother Yu, there are hundreds of ships out there! One shot from each and I'll be turned to dust!"

"I told you to turn it off."

Qin Yu's voice carried a tone that brooked no argument.

"Not only turn it off."

"But also take all the valuable things on your ship."

"And lay them out on the deck."

"Open your warehouse doors."

"Drag out all your Supply Crates."

"Better yet, hang up a banner."

"Write 'Welcome' on it."

Qi Chun was completely dumbfounded.

His already insufficient brain capacity had now completely crashed.

"Bro... Brother Yu, why are we doing this?"

"Aren't we just asking to die?"

From the other end of the walkie-talkie.

Came the sound of a lighter lighting a cigarette.

"This is called bait."

"These people are just blinded by greed right now."

"But they haven't completely lost their minds yet."

"If they see us standing ready and prepared."

"They'll hesitate, they'll probe, they'll waste time."

"I don't like wasting time."

Qin Yu paused.

"I want them to see a piece of fat meat."

"To see completely defenseless fat meat."

"Only then."

"Will they charge forward like mad dogs."

"Will they crowd together."

"Will they..."

"Make it convenient for me to solve them all at once."

Qi Chun swallowed hard.

Ruthless.

Too ruthless.

This was treating these hundreds of ships, these thousands of people.

Like a side dish to be swallowed in one gulp!

"Then... what about you?"

Qi Chun asked, trembling.

"Me?"

On the deck of the "President."

That layer of dark blue liquid metal suddenly began to flow.

The originally massive hull.

Became transparent, distorted in the morning light.

Finally.

It actually slowly disappeared into thin air.

[Optical Camouflage · Activated]

[Quantum Ghost Mode · Standby]

Qin Yu's voice drifted over faintly.

"I'll be in the shadows, of course."

"Watching you all put on a show."

"Remember, fatty."

"Make it convincing."

"If you mess it up."

"I'll skin you and hang you next to the Berserker."

"To make a pair."

The walkie-talkie cut off.

Qi Chun looked at the dark mass of enemy fleet before him.

Then glanced at the big brother who had already "vanished" into thin air.

He slapped himself hard across the face.

"Damn it!"

"I'm going all in!"

"It's just acting, right?"

"I was the star of the drama club back in the day!"

He spun around sharply.

Yelling at the subordinates who were already scared stiff.

"What are you all standing around for?!"

"Didn't you hear Brother Yu's words?!"

"Get all the stuff out here!"

"Turn off the protective shield!"

"Raise the white flag!"

"Start crying for me!"

"The more pitiful, the better!"

"Just shout 'Qin Yu ran away, we surrender'!"

"Hurry!!!"

...

On the sea.

The swarming raiders, who had originally been cautiously probing.

After all, that was the tough guy who took down the Berserker.

No one wanted to be the first to stick their neck out.

But just then.

They saw.

That fortress floating in mid-air suddenly deactivated its protective shield.

Immediately after.

A huge white flag was raised.

The deck was piled high with enviable Supply Crates.

And a fat man was holding a megaphone, wailing and crying.

"Stop fighting! Stop fighting!"

"We surrender!"

"That bastard Qin Yu abandoned us and ran!"

"All the stuff is here! Take whatever you want!"

"We just beg for our miserable lives!"

This scene.

Was like a shot of adrenaline.

Instantly injected into the veins of every raider.

"He ran?"

"Hahahaha! I knew it! What tough guy, just a coward!"

"Looks like our massive army scared the guts out of him!"

"Charge!"

"First come, first served!"

"That Floating Fortress is mine!"

"The supplies are mine!"

The last bit of caution they had.

At this moment.

Vanished without a trace.

Hundreds of ships.

Big and small alike.

All went full throttle.

Rushing headlong toward that defenseless fat man.

Afraid that if they were a step late, they wouldn't even get the scraps.

No one noticed.

Behind the chaotic fleet.

On that seemingly empty stretch of sea.

A pitch-black cannon barrel.

Silently extended out from thin air.

Like a venomous snake.

Flicking out its deadly tongue.

In the command room of the "President."

Qin Yu stared at the densely clustered red dots on the screen.

He watched the ships colliding with each other as they fought for position.

He pressed the activation key for the weapon system.

"Ruo Bing."

"Gravity Field warming up."

"Target locked: Full Area Coverage."
