Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

The camera panned to the concert poster plastered across the wall: C-Boys Band in their signature cool poses, under the glowing title Love X5 Live Show. The stadium pulsed with neon energy. Lights flashed, fans screamed, and rivers of glow sticks painted the crowd in waves of color. Irene could barely breathe. This wasn't just any concert—this was Luxiaomi × C-Boys Band Live in Beijing.

"Bella! She's here! Luxiaomi is really here!" Irene shrieked, gripping Bella's arm so tightly she could feel the bones.

"Ow! I can see that, Irene!" Bella laughed, trying to wiggle free. "But don't kill me before the concert even starts!"

Irene giggled, releasing her friend.

Then the stage lit up. Luxiaomi shimmered like a goddess under pink and white lights. Her silver microphone sparkled, lavender hair tied in a high ponytail, and her voice poured into the stadium—smooth, emotional, and powerful.

Beside her stood Kai, the leader of the C-Boys Band. His silver hair caught the spotlight, framing a smile so dazzling it made the entire stadium scream. Then there was Juno, the charming heartthrob with mischievous green eyes and a laugh that could melt anyone's heart. Ren, the quiet genius, with dark hair falling over one eye, exuded an intensity that made fans swoon. Min, the prankster, always smirking, with honey-blond hair and a playful glint in his eye. And Calix, the strong, dependable one, broad-shouldered with a voice that rumbled through the stadium like a heartbeat. Together, they were electric—a perfect harmony of talent and charisma.

As Luxiaomi and Kai sang side by side, backed by the rest of the band's flawless choreography, Irene was lost. The lights, the music, the rhythm—they consumed her. Her voice cracked as she and Bella screamed the lyrics, joined by thousands of fans:

Love, love, love, love…

Can you make me smile?

Love, love, love, love…

Is it all a lie?

The stadium shook with energy. Irene jumped, waved, cried, and screamed, and Bella did the same.

"Irene," Bella shouted over the music, "we're breathing the same air as them!"

"Yeah," Irene gasped, "but we're also breathing everyone's sweat! Calm down!"

They both collapsed into uncontrollable laughter. It was pure magic.

Then came the announcement that sent shockwaves through the crowd.

"Tonight, six lucky fans will join Luxiaomi and the C-Boys Band on stage! Each fan can bring one individual of their choice!"

The stadium erupted. Everyone prayed for their numbers to be picked.

All the band members and Luxiaomi took a short break, leaving the stage buzzing with anticipation. When they returned, six shiny ballot boxes were wheeled out, each containing tickets from fans who had entered for a chance to step onto the stage. The crowd tensed. Each band member would pick a ticket, and the number would flash on the giant screen. The lucky fan would get to join them… and bring a friend.

The first ticket went to Juno. He smirked, teased, and pulled a number, glancing at the crowd with a wink. "Good luck," he whispered, tossing the ticket onto the scanner. The screen lit up. Cheers erupted.

Ren followed, his eyes scanning the audience, his fingers trembling slightly as if he didn't usually do things this public. His ticket flashed on the screen—another scream from the crowd.

Min, ever the showman, grabbed his ticket dramatically. He leaned back, tossed his head, and flashed the winning number with exaggerated flair. Fans went wild.

Calix picked next. Calm and steady, he scanned the tickets with a small smile. The number appeared, and the stadium erupted into applause.

Then came Kai. His fingers hovered over the tickets, then froze, as if he could sense the future. The tension in the air was thick, every fan holding their breath. He finally drew a ticket, and the screen lit up—another lucky fan chosen.

Finally, it was Luxiaomi's turn. She approached the box with a serene smile, her silver mic in hand, the lavender ponytail bouncing as she moved. The stadium quieted, every eye fixed on her. She dipped her hand into the box… and pulled a ticket.

She unfolded it slowly. Three digits stared back at her: 7 – 4 – 2…

Irene's heart stopped.

The screen flashed the full six-digit number—742189.

The stadium held its collective breath as Luxiaomi looked up, scanning the crowd… and her eyes locked on Irene.

Irene froze, her stomach twisting. Bella grabbed her hand.

"Wait… is that…?" Bella whispered.

Luxiaomi's smile widened, and the lights seemed to shine just a little brighter on her.

Irene's number had been chosen. She was about to step onto the stage of her dreams. wooooooooh
