"Looks like we are meeting twice today, Omega." Princess said.
I turned to see her in the electronics store I was in. Standing beside her was Beam.
For a second I just stood there. Of all the places to run into her, it had to be here.
"Hey you… what are you doing here?" I asked. I was like four to five feet away from them, not wanting to get close to her.
I kept that distance on purpose. Too close and her scent would hit me again. Too close and my stupid wolf would start acting up. At least I have to control myself.
"Today is Saturday. We hang out here every Saturday and Sunday. I should be asking you what you are doing here. Shouldn't you be home… like resting?"
"I am here for my phone, but it turns out there is no screen, so I have to wait again until next week," I said.
The technician behind the counter was still fiddling with tools, pretending not to listen.
"Yes, right, you are phoneless. One of the reasons I could not reach you yesterday…"
