A knock on the door interrupted everything.
"Boss, some delivery guy is here", David's voice sounded.
Fuck David is such a cock blocker.
I left Iris in the sofa,she was still breathing hard. All the things I wanted to do to her I'm that vulnerable form. She was always vulnerable from the start. And when I learned about her PTSD I lost my fucking senses. But she is someone lively and now
I can't let her go.
I put on my pants and went to the door. The delivery guy held a box in his hands." Yes?"
I run a hand through my hair tiredly and frustrated.
"Mrs Johnson said I should bring you this suit",he handed me the suit and asked me to sign some stuff.
"David. Get the car ready", I closed the door to see a sleeping Iris. She slept ? I put her through so much ecstasy that she had to black out. I carried her into her bedroom and helped her into a loose long dress. She didn't bother waking up.
I showered and dressed in the suit . By 11:00
I was ready. I knocked on Iris's room door before she shouted that she's coming.
She dressed in a simple shirt and skirt. She blushed when she saw me . " Uh... Uhm.. sorry for sleeping"
"Are you ready?", I asked her.
"Yes",she smiled sheepishly. She looked so cute right now . I would like to take her here and now but, I can't.
We got in the car and David drove us to my mother's house which was 30 minutes away.
All the while, she looked out the window. She stared at the city, a very small smile in her face.
"You know... I've never felt so happy in my entire life. I feel at peace. Like I could rest without worry. Like I could fly. But nothing good ever lasts long for me. And eventually you'll get tired of me. People always do",seeing her confess her feelings, my heart did something.
I looked at this beautiful woman beside me.
" I am not people and I'll never get tired of you"
She smiled. Her smile so warm and genuine.

When we reached the house, her koth was at gape. She looked at the house with so much admiration.
"This house looks better than yours",she teased. "It's welcoming and have good lightning unlike yours"
"Whatever. I'm a man and my mom's a woman", we went in. My mom was sitting on the couch, pressing on her phone.
I cleared my voice to get her attention. She looked up, smiling.
"My favorite person",she hugged me.
Iris POV
I greeted Mrs Johnson and she smiled at me. She got into a conversation about random things when she called me to the kitchen.
"You do know how to cook right?",she asked.
"Yes", I replied.
"Prepare a meal for six persons. After that, go to the guest room. Right after you climb the stairs and you look to your right. Clean all the rooms in that corridor for the guests",she said. "Please serve the meal after 30 minutes in the dining hall. Don't disgrace me or my son. Be an effective employee and work"
I took in everything she was saying. I wanted to tell her. Was I to do everything alone? In the car , Kendrick told me , her mother was short on staff. I hadn't expected for everyone to be gone.
I looked into the fridge at what I can cook. There's rice, beef, potato,chicken everything. I decided to make chicken curry with salad." You have only thirty minutes ",I told myself.
Finally I was done. I put everything in the ceramic bowls and set everything on the table. Kendrick was no were to be seen, as well as his mother . I guess I should go clean the guestrooms. Five rooms in total. All bigand very spacious. I had difficulty in finding the mop and bucket.
I got down to cleaning. After , cleaning two rooms, I was already tired. My waist was in pain as a result of bending over and over again.
