"Then stay back and watch carefully," Alex said without turning around. "If you interfere, you'll only get in my way."
Adoff clenched his fists. "You're acting like this is nothing."
"It isn't," Alex replied calmly. "That's exactly why I'm serious."
The air inside the cavern shifted.
A suffocating pressure spread from [Igris], rolling through the tunnel like invisible waves. Dust trembled across the rocky floor while small pebbles lifted slightly before dropping again.
The Demon's glowing crimson eyes narrowed.
"Human…" it growled slowly, its voice rough and distorted. "You finally stop hiding behind weaker ones?"
Alex rolled his shoulder once before loosening his grip around the [Abyss Blade].
"Hiding?" he repeated with a faint smile. "No. I was teaching."
The Demon's lips curled upward unnaturally.
"Teaching… death?"
"Something like that."
Silence followed.
