Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Healing Gift? God’s Gift!

Bo City

Wang's Medical Clinic

The streets outside were packed with people, the crowd so large it nearly blocked the entrance to the clinic.

On the adjacent street, curious onlookers were whispering among themselves.

"What's going on? Why are there so many people?"

"You must be from out of town, right? This is Divine Doctor Wang—the genius student from Tianlan Magic High School. He's holding consultations today! Otherwise, why would there be so many people?"

"What? A high school student? How skilled could he possibly be?"

"Don't underestimate him! His Healing Element magic is even better than the Intermediate Healing Element mages in the city!

Last time, someone went to one of them for treatment but wasn't cured. He came back to Bo City, and Divine Doctor Wang healed him immediately!"

"That powerful? What kind of illness was it?"

"Kidney deficiency."

"Holy cow! A true Divine Doctor!"

The outsider fell silent at once, then quickly squeezed into the line of patients waiting outside the clinic.

Inside the clinic, Wang Feng leaned lazily by the window, sipping hot tea as his eyes swept across the bustling crowd outside.

He sighed, shaking his head.

"Why are they so anxious? It's not even opening hours yet."

There were still ten minutes before nine o'clock.

"Old Wang, your mouth is almost reaching the sky," Mo Fan, who was helping inside, muttered in annoyance.

"What nonsense are you spouting? This is called a doctor's benevolence," Wang Feng retorted, glaring at him.

As a transmigrator, Wang Feng knew full well that he had crossed into the world of Versatile Mage.

Just like in his previous life, his parents here had been doctors. But when he was twelve, they were killed by demons during a house call.

Thanks to his neighbor, Mo Jiaxing, Wang Feng managed to pull himself together and later entered Tianlan Magic High School with the city's top score.

There, he awakened the extremely rare Healing Element.

After half a year of hard work, he finally formed his first Star Orbit connection and successfully cast his first Healing magic: Healing Light.

And at that moment, his golden finger as a transmigrator finally revealed itself—

Healing Replication.

As long as he healed someone, whether it was a mage's Stardust or an ordinary person's dormant talent, Wang Feng could replicate and integrate it into himself.

(Note: Each person can only be copied once. If multiple talents exist, the strongest takes priority.)

With this ability, Wang Feng decided to reopen his parents' clinic, not only to heal others but also to uncover hidden talents buried within ordinary people.

"Aren't you tired?" Mo Fan asked, watching him.

He still vividly remembered how exhausting it felt the first time he ran out of magic energy.

"I am," Wang Feng admitted with a smile, "but as Teacher Tang Yue said, the best way for a Healing Element mage to cultivate is to use it constantly. That's why I've already advanced to the Intermediate Level."

In the past two years, he had cast Healing spells countless times. Nearly half the people in Bo City had been treated by him.

Along the way, he had gained many strange but useful innate talents:

Rapid Casting – Star Orbit drawing difficulty reduced.

Magic Energy Conversion – Different Stardust energies can be converted 1:1.

Cell Reinforcement – Healing strengthens cells, enhancing the body.

Dream Weaving – Mind soothing; creates dreams during sleep.

Soul Sorting – Guides and merges souls without resistance.

There were also abilities that enhanced elemental power, boosted recovery speed, and others he hadn't even unlocked yet.

Mo Fan's well-known dual-element per level talent was, of course, also copied by Wang Feng—but he dismissed it as unimpressive.

"Bastard! That's too much!" Mo Fan nearly cried.

He had thought mastering magic in five months would put him far ahead. Yet Wang Feng had quietly spent two years to reach the Intermediate Level!

"Alright, let's get ready to open shop." Wang Feng put down his teacup and gestured toward the front.

Mo Fan pouted but reluctantly went to open the door.

As soon as the clinic opened, the crowd surged forward like a tidal wave, nearly knocking Mo Fan flat.

"I was here first!"

"Nonsense, I was clearly ahead of you!"

Arguments broke out, the chaos resembling a tourist attraction on a holiday.

"Hey, line up!" Mo Fan shouted, but his voice was drowned out in the uproar.

Then, a calm but powerful voice flowed out from the back hall, clear as spring water—instantly silencing the crowd.

"Everyone, quiet."

It wasn't loud, yet it reached every ear.

"Please line up. One by one."

At once, the crowd settled down and formed a long, orderly queue.

"…Damn it, I really feel useless," Mo Fan muttered, regretting his earlier effort.

Under the orderly system, Wang Feng quickly prescribed his family's ancestral medicine to the usual crowd of "kidney-deficient" men and sent them away.

He had already treated them before—no new talents could be copied from them.

Suddenly, an urgent cry rang from outside:

"Divine Doctor Wang, help!"

Several burly workers rushed in, carrying an uncle drenched in blood.

His right arm had been cleanly severed. Blood soaked his clothes, his face was ashen, sweat dripping from his forehead.

"Doctor Wang, my coworker's arm was cut off by a machine accident! Is there any hope?" one of them pleaded.

Wang Feng's expression sharpened. He quickly examined the wound—clean cut, as if sliced by a blade.

"Did you bring the severed arm?"

"Yes! Yes!" another man hurriedly pulled out a bloodstained cloth bag, revealing the arm.

"Small problem," Wang Feng said calmly, full of confidence.

He cleansed the arm with Healing Light, aligned it with the stump, then placed his palm gently on it.

A milky-white Star Atlas bloomed behind him. From his palm, a pure Healing butterfly fluttered out, landing on the wound.

Soft light wrapped around the severed arm.

Flesh, bone, nerves, and blood vessels reconnected at visible speed.

Moments later, the light faded—the arm was fully restored, flawless, without even a scar.

At that instant, a golden prompt shimmered in Wang Feng's vision:

Light-Dark Coexistence: The Light Element and Black Magic can coexist without conflict.

(Note: This is not a system novel. The prompts are frameworks created by Wang Feng himself through Dream Weaving in his subconscious, written this way for clarity and ease of reading.)
