Chapter 203 - What Makes You Think You’re Worth Watching a Dance Like Madara’s?

Boil Release.

A kekkei genkai born from the fusion of Fire and Water chakra.

Unlike the acidic mist version later used by Terumi Mei, the future Fifth Mizukage of Kirigakure, the Boil Release of Iwagakure's Five-Tails jinchūriki functioned very differently.

Han converted chakra directly into superheated steam. The explosive force generated by that steam enhanced his body—multiplying his speed, strength, and impact to terrifying levels.

Steam could haul tens of thousands of tons—trains, freight ships—propelling them with unstoppable momentum.

And Han's custom-built steam armor essentially turned him into a living engine.

Power. Velocity. Impact.

All converted perfectly into raw physical dominance.

Boom.

His fist, carrying the force of a collapsing mountain, smashed into Uchiha Jin's head—

And Jin exploded into splintered wood.

Wood chips?

Substitution Jutsu.

Han halted instantly. The ground beneath his feet fractured outward in spiderweb cracks. The white plume trailing behind his helmet swayed as if sensing something.

Under the nourishment of Tailed Beast chakra, jinchūriki possessed extraordinary regenerative abilities. And Han had been in a semi-tailed-beast state—his body wrapped in chakra that mitigated much of the earlier damage.

He was injured. Badly.

But far from finished.

His wounds were already knitting closed at visible speed.

Several dozen meters away, Jin crouched behind a tree, breathing faintly, orange-red light flickering within his eyes.

"One… three… ten… four…"

"So there are sensory-types among the survivors…"

Activating his Crimson Eyes technique, Jin tracked the movements of dozens of Iwa shinobi within several hundred meters.

He was surrounded.

To pinpoint his position this quickly, at least one sensory ninja must have survived the Great Brahma strike.

Jin released the technique and exhaled slowly.

Even with a little time left, in his current state, he wouldn't last until Hizashi and the others arrived.

He had swallowed soldier pills—but they only accelerated recovery. They didn't create chakra from nothing.

Chakra was the fusion of physical energy and spiritual energy—stamina and will.

And from last night until now, Jin had not rested once.

Travel drained stamina. Repeated large-scale ninjutsu had drained both body and mind to the brink.

If he forced himself to refine chakra again—then exhausted it completely—

He might end up like Kakashi Hatake in the original timeline—dead from chakra depletion.

He wasn't a Senju or an Uzumaki with monstrous reserves.

Ten "units" of chakra at best.

And now he was running on fumes.

He hadn't expected to run out of "mana" in this life.

…So he would have to use that.

Jin's gaze sharpened.

Decision made.

He bit his finger, pressed blood to the center of his forehead, and formed hand seals. Black curse-like markings spread across his face and skin.

"There he is!"

A shout rang out, startling birds into flight.

"Boil Release: Unrivaled Strength!"

Han wasted no time. In a blur, he appeared beneath the tree Jin hid in and punched straight through the trunk—splitting it in half and exposing him.

"Boil Release: Unrivaled Strength — Jet Kick!"

Killing intent flashed in his eyes as he drove a steam-propelled kick toward Jin's skull.

Jin remained calm.

Hands forming the Ram seal, the blood at his brow condensed into a manji symbol.

"Bankai—"

"Seventh Gate of the Eight Gates — Gate of Wonder, Open!"

Before Jin could fully break the seal—

A figure wreathed in blue steam appeared like a phantom, moving faster despite reacting later—intercepting Han head-on.

"Dai?!"

Jin froze for half a second—then relaxed instantly, halting his own forbidden technique.

Might Duy descended like a war god.

His kick collided directly with Han's jet-propelled strike.

The explosion of force tore through the forest.

Under the power of the Seventh Gate, Han—caught off guard—was blasted backward.

"Jin! I'm not too late, am I?!"

Duy flashed a radiant, almost blinding grin.

"No," Jin replied, letting out a long breath. "You're right on time."

During the Third Shinobi World War, Jin had shone on the Kirigakure front—

But he had also made sure certain tragedies never occurred.

For example—

The death of Nohara Rin.

And the death of Might Duy.

Even before transmigrating into this world, Jin had always thought Duy's death was an unforgivable waste.

After all—

Duy's son, Might Guy, would one day open the Eighth Gate and nearly kill Madara Uchiha, who had become the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki.

The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist?

What were they worth compared to that?

What "dance" were they qualified to watch?

If someone was going to burn the Eighth Gate—

It should be against a monster like Madara.

Not the Seven Swordsmen.

Because of Jin's interference, Duy never had to open the Eighth Gate against them.

More than that—

Jin had befriended Duy early on. Quietly, discreetly, he provided assistance—improving Duy's living conditions, giving him resources to train properly.

The Eight Gates was an amplification technique.

The stronger the body, the greater the amplification.

In the original timeline, Duy had been a lifelong genin. Few would team with him. He struggled to even afford meals—let alone optimal training.

Guy was different.

Duy's sacrifice forced Konoha's higher-ups to recognize pure taijutsu's value. Guy rose to jōnin, gained proper resources, and forged a body far superior to his father's.

But now—

With Jin's involvement—

Even if Duy hadn't reached Guy's peak condition, he wasn't far behind.

At this moment—

Might Duy might very well be the strongest man in the shinobi world.
