He started dancing. No one stopped him.
Denzel continued. "We've already picked a date. Three weeks from now."
Grace: "And we've chosen our attendants."
Everyone leaned in.
Grace: "Jay, will you be my maid of honor?"
Jay's eyes went wide. "Me?"
Grace: "You're my best friend. Of course you."
Jay hugged her tightly. "Yes. Absolutely yes."
Denzel turned to Keifer. "And Keifer, will you be my man of honor?"
Keifer blinked. "Man of honor?"
Denzel: "I don't have a brother. You're the closest thing. Plus—" He glanced at Jay. "—you're already family."
Keifer looked at Jay. She was smiling.

Aries: "Huh."

Ci-n was heartbroken to be left out but accepted his role as "documentarian from afar."

Keifer was already standing.
Denzel: "Where are you going?"
Keifer: "To get my girlfriend."

Ella wasn't there, but Aries wasn't leaving Keifer.
They piled into cars.
Keifer in the lead. Aries beside him.
Aries: "You're jealous."
Keifer: "I'm protective."

At the girls' club, the dancing continued.

The club door swung open.
Keifer walked in.

Percy: "THE CAVALRY HAS ARRIVED!"
The girls froze.
Jay spotted Keifer. Her face lit up.
"KEIFER!"
She ran toward him. Tripped slightly. He caught her.
Jay: "YOU'RE HERE!"
Keifer: "You're dancing."
Jay: "I WAS DANCING!"
Keifer: "With everyone watching."
Jay: "THEY WERE WATCHING?"
Keifer: "Yes."
Jay: "I DIDN'T NOTICE!"
She laughed. Leaned against him.
Keifer: "You're tipsy."
Jay: "I'M HAPPY TIPSY!"
Keifer: "Same thing?"
Jay: "SAME THING!"
He couldn't stay jealous. She was too cute.
The guys scanned the room. The group of guys from before had disappeared.
Aries: "They're gone."
Calix: "Smart move."
Edrix: "Very smart."
Freya appeared beside Edrix. "You came."
Edrix: "We came."
Freya: "To rescue Jay?"
Edrix: "To rescue all of you."
Freya: "We didn't need rescuing."

Mica hugged Calix. Rakki checked on Ci-n (he wasn't there, but she texted him). Ella kissed Aries' cheek.
Ella: "Protective boyfriend."
Aries: "Protective presence."

Drew collected bets (he'd bet Keifer would show up). David went back to sleep on a couch. Eren found the waiter again. Josh meditated in a corner.
Baster hummed a "reunion" melody.

She laughed. He smiled.
Back at the Fernandez house, everyone crashed.
But Jay and Keifer ended up in the same room.

Jay sat on the bed. Keifer leaned against the door.

Keifer: "Jay—"
Jay: "Stay. Please."
She looked at him. Tipsy eyes. Soft smile.
Keifer: "Okay."
He sat beside her.

Keifer: "Today was chaotic."
Jay: "Same thing?"

She leaned against him. He wrapped his arm around her.

He kissed her forehead.
She fell asleep against him.
He laid her down gently. Covered her with a blanket.

Keifer smiled in the dark.

She reached for his hand. Held it.
They slept.

Jay: "Never."
He kissed her.
Outside, Percy's voice: "THEY'RE IN THE SAME ROOM! CI-N, DOCUMENT!"

Rakki: "Leave them alone."
Percy: "HISTORY WON'T LEAVE ITSELF!"
Jay laughed against Keifer's lips.
