"I…" Naruto opened his mouth, a bitter expression on his face.
He shook his head and said, "Forget it. Since you don't believe me, anything I say is useless."
With that, Naruto stood up and prepared to return to the bedroom to rest.
"Stop right there!"
Hinata quickly stepped forward and blocked his path, preventing him from entering the bedroom.
Naruto sighed, stopped, and said tiredly, "What now? I'm exhausted. I want to rest."
"You tell me clearly—where did you go last night?" Hinata demanded in an accusatory tone.
"You're tired? What exactly did you do last night to make you so tired?"
Hinata intended to make a big deal out of this.
She no longer wanted to live with Naruto.
She wanted to seize this opportunity to completely sever their relationship—polite on the surface, distant at heart.
"Are you done yet?!" Naruto said impatiently.
"I'm not done!" Hinata shouted.
"You must tell me where you went last night. Otherwise, I'll go back to my family—I'll go find your Mother!"
She stood with her hands on her hips, glaring at Naruto aggressively.
Naruto's expression changed.
He knew Hinata wasn't joking.
If she really caused a scene at the Hyuga Clan, or went to Kushina, and this matter spread, the entire Konoha Village would know.
"Hoo…" Naruto took a deep breath and said calmly, "I… can't do it anymore."
"Can't… can't do it anymore?" Hinata froze for a moment, then asked curiously—there was even a hint of excitement in her voice.
"I went to the hospital for a checkup," Naruto said dejectedly, lowering his head.
"I can't… do that anymore."
As he spoke, Naruto took out the hospital examination report and handed it to Hinata.
She would find out sooner or later anyway. Since she was his wife, he might as well come clean and clear up her suspicions about last night.
Hinata took the report and read it.
Excitement instantly flashed across her face.
She had been worrying about how to avoid being touched by Naruto—never did she expect that Naruto himself had already lost that ability.
"I didn't go anywhere last night," Naruto sighed self-mockingly.
"I just drank alone. I was afraid you'd find out about this."
"Hmph!" Hinata sneered coldly.
"So that's how it is. Looks like you played around with women too much before. You even played yourself into this state!"
"I…" Naruto opened his mouth, wanting to explain, but no words came out.
"Hmph!"
Hinata snorted, threw the examination report onto the table, and turned back toward the bedroom.
Not long after, she came out carrying a quilt.
"What are you doing?" Naruto asked in confusion.
"From now on, we sleep in separate beds," Hinata said flatly.
"You sleep in yours. I'll sleep in mine."
"What do you mean by that?" Naruto frowned, his tone angry.
"What do I mean?" Hinata pouted disdainfully.
"What's the point of sleeping with you? Since that's the case, it's better to sleep separately and save you some dignity."
Naruto opened his mouth, wanting to argue, but couldn't say a single word.
Yes.
What was the point of sleeping together?
He couldn't even "eat".
After Hinata carried the quilt into another bedroom and finished making the bed, she lay down.
A faint curve appeared at the corner of her lips—she was in an excellent mood.
She hadn't expected her goal of sleeping separately to be achieved so easily.

"Mother, are you jealous?" Kaien chuckled as he hugged her tightly.
"Who—who's jealous?!" Kushina's face flushed as she scolded him.
"Haha!" Kaien burst out laughing. He loved teasing Kushina—especially when she got jealous. It made him incredibly happy.
"What are you laughing at?" Kushina glared at him, her face red. "I'm just happy for you!"
But deep inside, she felt a sour ache.
She had always thought about introducing a girlfriend to Kaien.
But knowing that he drank with another girl last night suddenly made her afraid.
It felt as though something precious was about to be taken away.
Unable to help herself, Kushina wrapped her arms around Kaien's neck, kissed him softly, and whispered.
"Kaien… I just want you to be happy. If you meet a suitable girl, remember to bring her back for me to see."
"Mother, are you really not jealous?" Kaien teased with a smile.
Kushina's expression flickered. She lowered her gaze and said softly.
"Our current relationship is already abnormal. If you find a girl you like, as your Mother, I should naturally be happy for you."
"En! Thank you, Mother," Kaien said sincerely.
But hearing his thanks only made Kushina feel emptier inside.
She felt as if something was missing.
Still, she couldn't show it.
She had to endure it—absolutely not letting Kaien notice anything.
"Um… Kaien, go back to your own room to sleep," Kushina said, pushing him gently. "I'm going to sleep."
Kaien heard this and sat up.
The moment he did, Kushina's heart ached sharply.
She quickly closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep.
