Silver moonlight filtered through the brambles that overlooked the warriors den. TurtleCrawl had settled into her nest, listening to the nightly sounds, including other sleeping warriors. She pressed her muzzle into her fur, curling into a ball and closing her eyes. Eventually, the soft sounds of the night pulled her to sleep.
She awoke on a far-reaching moorland, a cool breeze flowing through her pelt. Her golden pelt shone in the never-ending sunlight. `Starclan..?` She whispered, her voice came out quieter than expected.
A hoarse voice spoke up behind her. `Keep your fur on. Your not dead. Yet.` She spun around. One of Riverclan's former medicine cats, PenguinScar, stood behind her. His black and white mingled seemed disshelved. `Then... Why am I here?` She asked the old tom. He grunted, his tail resting across his paws as he sat onto his haunches.
The dual coloured Tom cleared his throat, before talking to her again. `The undying flame must be sought out. To thaw the river.` He spoke, his voice carrying moons of unwavering wisdom. TurtleCrawl tilted her head. The undying flame? Thaw the river ?She thought to herself. How mousebrained! No. She couldn't question her superior. `And... The undying flame is... Where..?` She asked, but PenguinScar was already fading away. His words echoed in her head. The flame will be revealed... In good time...
