The shower head hissed with an icy, pressurized roar.
Lucian stood beneath it, his palms flat against the black tile wall, his head bowed as the water hit the nape of his neck. He turned the valve to full blast, cutting the temperature down until frosty smoke began to rise from the drain, swirling around his bare ankles. The freezing needles did absolutely nothing to calm the raging monster below his waist.
"Try me."
Adrian's voice filtered into his head, clear and mocking, echoing over the sound of the rushing water. Lucian looked down at his already weeping monster, and he wasn't even surprised anymore. He had been known across the sectors for his flawless, unshakeable self-control. It was the foundation of his executive rank. But the moment it came to Adrian, everything he knew, every instinct he had trained, seemed to betray him completely.
He closed his eyes, his grip tightening against the tile until the stone threatened to crack under his fingers.
