Chapter 1 - Ch- 1 The Girl Who Didn't Exist

Aira always believed she was just an ordinary school girl.

Nothing special.

Nothing different.

Nothing mysterious.

She woke up every morning at 6:30, tied her hair in the same loose ponytail, wore the same slightly faded school uniform, and walked the same quiet road to school.

Her life was predictable.

Peaceful.

Normal.

Or at least… that's what she thought.

Until the day everything changed.

It started during a routine school activity.

The teacher was verifying students' documents for the upcoming national exam. One by one, students walked to the front desk, submitting their birth certificates and ID copies.

Aira waited patiently for her turn.

When her name was called, she stood up calmly and walked forward.

"Your documents?" the teacher asked without looking up.

Aira froze.

"I… I don't have them right now," she said softly.

The teacher sighed. "Then bring them tomorrow. Without official records, you cannot sit for the exam."

Those words felt strange.

Without official records.

It sounded… too serious.

Too impossible.

Because everyone has records.

Everyone has proof they exist.

Right?

That evening, Aira went home and asked her mother.

"Mom… where is my birth certificate?"

Her mother stopped chopping vegetables.

For a moment, the knife stayed frozen in the air.

Then she forced a smile.

"It must be somewhere. I'll find it later."

But her voice wasn't normal.

It sounded… nervous.

Days passed.

The certificate was never found.

So Aira decided to search for it herself.

She checked drawers, old boxes, cabinets, even dusty storage bags.

Nothing.

No documents.

No childhood photos.

No hospital papers.

Not even a single baby picture.

It was as if…

She had never been born.

Her heart started beating faster.

A strange cold feeling spread inside her chest.

This wasn't normal anymore.

So she tried something else.

She searched her name online.

School records.

Government databases.

Social media.

Student lists.

Nothing appeared.

No results.

No matches.

No trace.

Her existence was… empty.

That night, Aira couldn't sleep.

She kept staring at the ceiling, her mind racing.

If there are no records…

No proof…

No past…

Then a terrifying thought entered her mind.

"What if…"

"What if I don't actually exist?"

Suddenly, the lights in her room flickered.

Once.

Twice.

Then—

They went completely dark.

And in the silence, Aira heard something.

A whisper.

Soft.

Cold.

Right behind her.

"You were never meant to be seen."

Aira turned around instantly.

But there was no one there.

Only darkness.

And her own terrified breathing.

But deep inside…

She knew one thing for sure.

This was only the beginning.

And somewhere in this world…

Someone knew the truth about her existence.

End of ch -1....

Ch-2 soon...
