Chapter 71 - CHAPTER 71. I am not Carrying Your Child in My Womb

**Class: Chemistry**

**Period: Second**

**Location: Class XI Science Section**

The moment the classroom door opened, silence fell over the room.

Anurag Sir entered slowly.

Dark circles shadowed his eyes, his face looked utterly exhausted, and even his voice carried the weight of fatigue.

The girls stood up and said, "Good morning, Sir."

He gave a faint smile and nodded once.

But his gaze was fixed on only one place—

Sneha.

She was sitting right in the front bench, yet she refused to look at his face.

It hurt him deeply.

Even as he began teaching, Sneha wasn't listening.

Her head was bowed, eyes fixed on the pages of her book, as though she wasn't really seeing anything.

Her eyelids were swollen…

perhaps from holding back tears.

A dull, suppressed pain lodged itself in Anurag Sir's chest.

He could no longer hold himself back.

He walked over and stood near the front bench.

Seeing him approach, Sneha stood up.

But her eyelids remained lowered.

Sir looked silently at her face for a long moment.

Both of them seemed to be waiting—for something to be said—yet no words reached their lips.

Only a raw, burning pull gathered in their eyes.

Between them, an invisible tension had formed, even without a single spoken word.

The girls watched this unfinished attraction with intense curiosity and fascination.

But Riya was burning with jealousy.

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha…"

Sneha remained silent.

Anurag Sir (looking at her with pained eyes):

"Sneha… I am sorry."

Sneha's lips trembled.

She couldn't speak.

Anurag Sir (in a desperate voice):

"Please come to my cabin during tiffin break. Please… there's so much I need to tell you."

Sneha stayed quiet.

But drop after drop, tears fell from her eyes onto the bench.

Sir noticed.

He said nothing.

He asked her to sit, then returned to the board to continue teaching.

The girls whispered among themselves—

"What did Sir say to her when he went so close?"

Now the students were convinced:

Sneha and Anurag Sir were in love.

---

**Noon. Tiffin period.**

Anurag Sir sat alone in his cabin, silent.

But his mind was restless.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

He stood up immediately.

He pulled the door open himself—and there she stood: Sneha.

He quickly invited her inside.

Sneha stepped in with extremely measured, quiet footsteps.

Her eyes were downcast.

She wasn't looking at him.

Once she was inside, Anurag Sir locked the door—

so no one could disturb them.

Then he came and stood in front of her.

Sneha kept her eyelids lowered.

Sir felt deeply guilty.

His heart ached desperately for just one thing—

for Sneha to look at him, even once.

Finally, he began to speak:

"Sneha… I am very sorry."

Sneha remained silent.

Her silence was driving him frantic.

Yet he refused to say anything that might hurt her more.

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha… that night…"

Sneha stayed quiet.

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha… that night, I don't remember what I did with you.

But if I did anything wrong… anything unjust… I am ready to take full responsibility.

Still, I desperately need to know what I did to you… otherwise it will be too late."

Sneha began to cry silently.

Seeing her tears, Sir panicked.

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha… you've read in your biology book how reproduction works… did I do anything like that to you?"

Sneha gave no answer.

She only continued crying.

Sir grew even more worried.

In his mind, Anurag Sir cursed himself:

"Damn you, Anurag! You wretch! You lecher! You must have done something terrible to her! That's why she's crying so much!"

In an anxious voice, he continued:

"If I did anything wrong to you, I am ready to take full responsibility.

If you want, you can go to the headmistress right now! There's no need to be afraid.

You don't have to feel ashamed at all.

If it's difficult for you to say it, I'll tell her myself.

I am so sorry, Sneha."

Sneha didn't stop crying.

In a voice choked with tears, she began:

"Sir… you… you… (taking deep, shuddering breaths)…"

Seeing her condition, Anurag Sir felt heartbroken.

Sneha (sobbing):

"Sir… whatever you did to me… you only did it because you were drunk. Right?"

Anurag Sir froze.

Sneha (still crying):

"I only bring trouble into your life, don't I?

You only see me as an extra responsibility, that's why you're telling me to go to the headmistress, right?

I'm your responsibility… but… but I'm not your love, right, Sir?"

Anurag Sir (in a choked whisper):

"Sneha…"

Sneha (moaning through tears):

"There's no need to be afraid, Sir… you didn't have sex with me… I'm not going to have your child in my womb…"

Even knowing that he hadn't done anything serious with her, seeing her in this state broke Anurag Sir's heart for her.

Anurag Sir (in a faint voice):

"Sneha… actually…"

Sneha:

"Go to your girlfriend… love her."

Sneha kept crying.

Anurag Sir could hold himself back no longer.

He could no longer stop himself from doing what he had restrained himself from for so long.

All doubts, all fears, all societal warnings—everything fell away in an instant.

He pulled Sneha into his arms.

Very tightly…

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha… I love you. Only you. I love you so much. So much. So much."

He wrapped her in a deep, tender embrace—

as though the right to hold her like this had been his since birth.

Sneha trembled… but she didn't pull away.

Instead, a faint trace of surrender appeared on her face—

as though she had been helpless, waiting a thousand years for this embrace from Anurag Sir.

Sneha's head came to rest against his chest.

The tears rolling from her eyes soaked into Anurag Sir's shirt.

And in those tears clung thousands of unspoken words, pain, misunderstandings… and finally, release.

Sneha (in a voice wet with tears):

"Sir…"

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha… I don't know what's good or bad, what's right or wrong.

I only know that I love you. So much. So very much."

Anurag Sir held her even tighter.

Sneha remained pressed against his chest.

No one had ever held her this tightly, this firmly before.

For a moment, her breath seemed to stop.

Her eyes widened in wonder, her body went numb.

But then…

Trembling, she closed her eyes.

The warmth of Anurag Sir's chest, his restless breathing, the touch of his shaking hands—

everything blended into a strange, profound peace that spread through her heart.

Her heart slowly melted.

It felt good… so very good.

Had she ever imagined this could happen?

In this embrace there was love, there was crying, there was boundless longing, and a flood of feelings she could no longer contain.

Sneha (in a tear-soaked voice):

"Sir…"

Anurag Sir:

"Sneha… nothing else matters to me anymore.

What the world will think, what society will say—I don't care.

I only love you. And I want to keep loving you—every moment, every second, every instant."

Sneha and Anurag Sir—both of them seemed cut off from the noise of the world.

Silence surrounded them.

The room was filled with soft light, the air heavy with an unnamed emotion.

Anurag Sir's arms enclosed Sneha.

The space between their bodies had vanished.

Very gently—as though touching a flower—

Anurag Sir placed his hand on her head.

His fingers slowly moved through her hair—each stroke carrying the language of his unspoken emotions.

Then…

Very slowly, with fathomless feeling, Anurag Sir pressed a kiss to the top of her head—right in the parting of her hair.

There was no sound, but the emotion of that kiss roared deep inside Sneha's heart.

In that single kiss, he seemed to say:

"I'm here beside you… I love you… I want to lose myself in this quiet moment."

Sneha exhaled very softly.

She closed her eyes.

Her lips trembled, but no words came.

Anurag Sir's face remained near her head, very close to her forehead… his own eyes wet with tears.

A long moment—silent, tender, yet powerful.

To be continued...
