On the morning of the second day, as Rimuru, Ciel, and Luna passed through the gates of Kuoh Academy, the world changed color for the devils residing within the school. At Rimuru's command, Ciel had thinned the veil of concealment to the width of a single hair. This leak of power was intentional; Rimuru wanted to see how long these beings, who called themselves the rulers of the night, could endure the scent of "Null."
Luna, her body reconstructed by Rimuru the night before, radiated a sense of atmospheric heaviness with every step. She was no longer the human girl who looked at the ground. She now walked beside Rimuru with a sharp gaze, overflowing with the pride of being possessed. Ordinary students were merely mesmerized by their staggering beauty, but the devils... they felt as though the oxygen was running out.
In the Occult Research Club room, Rias Gremory suddenly stood up. Her teacup slipped from her hand, spilling onto the carpet. She ran to the window and stared at the courtyard in disbelief. Akeno, who always smiled with a sadistic calm, was now pale. "Rias... do you feel this weight? It isn't power... it's as if there is an 'absence' of power. Like a black hole swallowing the surrounding magic."
Rias locked her eyes on Luna. "That girl... Luna. Yesterday she was a weak human, but today... her presence is like a blade against my throat. We must find out who is behind her. Send Kiba."
In the crowded school hallway, Kiba Yuuto blocked their path with his practiced, artificial smile. He intended to strike up a conversation with his usual masculine charm, but the moment he came within three steps of Rimuru, his survival instinct stopped him cold. He felt that if he moved a single millimeter closer, his very existence would be erased from history.
Rimuru stared at Kiba with a mature smirk, looking him over as if inspecting an insect. She deliberately wrapped her arm around Luna's waist, pulling her flush against her body.
"Look, Luna... it seems one of Gremory's lapdogs has lost his way," Rimuru said in a loud, demeaning voice. Luna cast a cold glance at Kiba. In the depths of her eyes, a spark of absolute darkness flickered. She spoke in the tone she had learned from Rimuru: "Do not block our path, mortal creature. You aren't even worthy of Rimuru-sama's gaze."
Kiba, cold sweat beading on his forehead, barely managed to speak: "My President, Rias Gremory, wishes to meet you."
Rimuru let out a short laugh. She leaned toward Luna's ear and, while softly sucking on her earlobe, looked at Kiba and said, "Tell her that if she knows how to beg well, perhaps we will spare a few minutes for her when we leave school this afternoon. Now, move aside." Before passing, Rimuru kissed Luna's lips right before Kiba's stunned eyes to flaunt her ownership to the entire school.
During class, Koneko, sitting at the back, never took her eyes off them for a second. She, who took pride in her physical strength and sense of smell, now only sensed "danger." Under the desk, Rimuru held Luna's hand, carving codes onto her palm with her fingers. She telepathically said to Ciel, "Ciel, look at how they are struggling. They're trying to find the source of Luna's power, unaware that the source is sitting right in front of them."
Ciel replied calmly, "Master, they are so small they cannot even endure your 'shadow.' Luna is absorbing your energy well. She will soon become the destroyer you desire."
After class, instead of waiting, Rimuru headed straight for the old club building. She didn't need an invitation; she was the owner of this narrative. With a kick to the club door, she entered without a shred of hesitation. Rias, Akeno, and the others were in a defensive stance. Ignoring the heavy atmosphere, Rimuru walked to the main sofa and sat with a feminine, commanding dignity. Ciel stood to her right, and Luna to her left.
Rimuru crossed her legs, looking at Rias with a gaze that humiliated her to the bone. "I heard you were very eager to see us, Red-Haired Princess?" She then took Luna's hand and pulled her to sit on the arm of the sofa beside her. Stroking Luna's hair, Rimuru continued, "We are here. Now tell me, what did you see in this girl that made you so anxious?"
Luna stared at Rias with a completely transformed gaze. In a voice surging with her new power, she said, "Watch what you say, Devil. You stand before someone for whom your entire world is but a toy."
