"Heh heh heh… Bakura? I'm not Bakura," Dark Bakura replied.
"What is your goal?!" Yami Yugi roared.
"You should already know, Yugi. Whoever gathers all the Millennium Items can obtain everything in this world. If you win, I'll return everyone's souls. But if I win… you hand over your Millennium Puzzle." Dark Bakura's smile sharpened.
"Heh… so this is the space of a Darkness Game," Kisaragi said as she walked in calmly.
Dark Bakura's expression flickered. "You're Kisaragi—the woman at Kaiba's side. Why is an ordinary person able to enter this darkness?"
"I've heard of Darkness Games. Aside from being kind of gloomy… it doesn't seem that special," Kisaragi muttered to herself.
"I asked you a question—didn't you hear me?!" Dark Bakura snapped.
"Kisaragi—why did you come in? Get out! This is a Darkness Game. A normal person will have their life force drained in here!" Yami Yugi warned.
"Heh heh heh. You'd better listen to Yugi. I'm feeling merciful right now—run while you still can," Dark Bakura sneered.
"Who said anything about running?" Kisaragi sat down in Yugi's seat. "A Darkness Game is rare. Let me experience it for myself."
She placed her own deck on the tree stump.
"Yugi, you've already dueled twice today. This one's mine," she said.
"B-but—" Yami Yugi tried to stop her, then saw white light rise from her body. "Spirit power… so that's why you can exist here. Fine. I'll yield this duel to you."
Dark Bakura's face sank. "Hey. I didn't agree to any of this. You two just decide who my opponent is?!"
"Bakura," Kisaragi said coolly, "I heard you want the Puzzle on Yugi's chest. Fine. But before you duel him… you'll have to beat me first."
"I don't need a duel to beat you!" Dark Bakura's Millennium Item flared, and a shockwave blasted toward her.
"Millennium Ring…?" Kisaragi murmured.
White light burst from her body and blocked the attack.
"What?!" Dark Bakura recoiled. "So you carry a special power inside you… no wonder you can enter this place."
"If that won't work… guess we'll duel." Dark Bakura grinned and sat across from her.

She's aiming to burn me down with effect damage. That means she probably doesn't have heavy hitters… I need to crush her fast, Dark Bakura calculated.
"A pathetic 100 ATK monster? Don't underestimate me! I summon White Robber in Attack Position!"

"Battle! White Robber attacks Naturia Beans!"
"Bakura—you walked right into it. I activate Trap Desert Sunlight! It switches my monsters to Defense Position!"
"Naturia Beans has 1200 DEF, so the 200 difference becomes damage to you!"

"Tch—then—" Dark Bakura tried to continue—
"Not so fast," Kisaragi cut in. "Naturia Beans' effect: when it's targeted for an attack, it inflicts 500 damage!"
"What?!"

Dark Bakura's body jerked—pain twisting through him.
"You okay?" Kisaragi asked sweetly, deliberately.
"Shut up!"
"That's the Darkness Game," Yami Yugi explained. "In this space, losing Life Points causes real physical pain."
"I see. But if you can't endure it, how will you win?" Kisaragi smiled.
"Nightmare's Torture Room effect—take another 300!"

"Guh—!" Dark Bakura grunted.
"Incredible… she casually carved a thousand Life Points off Bakura," Yami Yugi muttered, impressed.
"Tch. I underestimated you. Turn end!" (Cards in hand: 5)
Turn 2 — Kisaragi
"My turn—draw!"
"You ended without setting anything? Then I won't hold back."
"I activate Spell Change of Heart!"
"What—Change of Heart?!" Dark Bakura blurted, stunned.
"This turn, I take control of one of your monsters. White Robber is mine." Kisaragi smiled.
"I switch Naturia Beans to Attack Position."
"Battle! White Robber and Naturia Beans attack you directly!"
"AAAH!!"

"And White Robber's effect: when it deals battle damage, you must discard one card at random!"
Dark Bakura shuffled his hand face-down and threw one card into the Graveyard.
"While you discard," Kisaragi said, flipping a Continuous Trap, "I activate Call of the Haunted—" (Note: in the text it's called "Spirit of the Dead's Temptation")
"Whenever a card is sent to the Graveyard, its controller takes 300 damage!"
"What?! Using my monster's effect to trigger your trap?!"

"And because that was effect damage—Nightmare's Torture Room hits you for another 300!"

Dark Bakura's heart sank as he stared at the Equip Spell. He realized it instantly.
"No…!"

"Servant of Betrayal's effect: when the equipped monster's control changes, the monster's controller takes damage equal to its original ATK!"
"WHAT?!"
Yami Yugi's eyes narrowed. "So that's it… Change of Heart wasn't just to exploit White Robber's discard and trigger her trap—she planned the return as a finishing blow too!"
"The strike of one who bears a traitor's heart…" Kisaragi said coldly.
"Feel it with your own body."
"AAAAH!!"
