The day has finally came and we marched towards Tripuri.
We had total of 35,200 forces, of which 200 personal host of Prince Mahendr, 100 new elephant cavalry of mine, 4,900 cavalry of mine, 20,000 infantry of mine, 5,000 infantry of Chedi forces, and 5,000 cavalry of Chedi forces.
We were very confident on winning this war and I talked with King Vallek about it he said, "I don't think he has many forces". I replied and analysed, "You said he had half of Chedi forces which means he has 5,000 infantry and 5,000 cavalry".
He just realised something and smiled I asked about that and he replied, "You remember I told you that you remind me of someone, you...actually remind me of my father. You are exactly just like him always talking about war and its strategy he also like you always calculate enemy's forces even if he had more forces".
I replied nervously, "Don't my King don't compare me to the great warrior like the late King Kokall, I am just a newbie in front of him".
"This trait of your tell you are very talented in war, you will become a great warrior I can see it in your eyes", he told confidently.
I was happy and felt confident about this compliment, so I began to look forward for the siege to come.
Then I asked, "So what kind of person is your brother and how are you confident on him killing your father and broth--", "Because he was like this from childhood. You know when we were kids we looked up to him, but whenever we did something good and everyone complimented us but he was jealous and beated us and always threatens us on not telling father about this or he will throw us in wells. When we grew up, father made me King of Ratanpur to check on South seeing my abilities, but Shankargan was useless not good in anything and thought that throne will still pass to him, but that did not happen brother Arjun was better than him in every way so father realised and made him Yuvraj but he did not stop he waited for years and when father was sick he played his move and became King. These men are insane, they could have become great philosopher and scientists if they used their full brains but they still do adharam".
I can see pain of bad childhood and knowing that his own brother killed his father and another brother and now is ready to kill him.
I chose to stay quiet in this situation I knew what pain he was going through.
