After a great feast, David fell asleep looking forward to the future.
The next day, he would start designing his Pokemon game.
When he woke up in the morning, David made himself a breakfast and sat down in front of his computer to start working on ideas and start coding.
"Alright, let's start! It should be a VR game, it would be a waste to not take advantage of VR technology with how advanced it is here. I mean, the VR glasses here are the size of literal glasses! That's crazy!"
"The games here have really really good graphics, but the popularity of Pokemon came from the pokemons and the connection it gave to players. A game is supposed to be enjoyable, or else nobody would buy it."
Then David suddenly had a burst of inspiration.
"Wait... is what I'm thinking even been done in this world, it could be possible with the VR technology! Let's check, if what I am thinking can really be accomplished, I'll have made a innovation in video games!"
After checking online, he realized that his idea had not been made here, it would be unique, something never seen before by players from both worlds.
"It's not been made here... Does that mean I'll have a new market just for me? This is incredible!
Because David's idea was...
"My idea to make a VR version of Pokemon GO could be a massive success!!"
"But I'll have to make multiple modifications, I plan to sell the game and not make things pay-to-win, that would just be an act of bad faith, as a pokemon fan myself I can't bring myself to do that."
With his conscience put to rest, David began to think of the possibilities.
"But man, it's really genius, in Pokemon GO there's every pokemon and I can add them in gradually to prioritize long term growth, and the map of game could literally be the whole world! I will be able to literally bring Pokemon to this world!"
"Wait should I even call the game Pokemon GO? It doesn't really make sense to make sequels if I'll update it a few times a year. Maybe I should just call it Pokemon? It does have a nice ring to it! And anyway it's my game and I wouldn't copy the title of any of the games in my past life!"
"But I can't make a direct copy of Pokemon GO, the original game was made to supplement the already existing franchise, I'll have to make big modifications if I plan to introduce as a standalone game."
"Man, so much to think about!"
But then, David frowned.
"But there was stuff that won't make much sense if I make it VR. What if the players see different things? How would we catch pokemon and battle others? I should keep the games battle system, the one in Pokemon GO would be a waste compared to it. And how should I avoid accidents?"
Let's not forget, David died to a car while being distracted and it was still a shadow on his heart, he didn't like the sensation of dying and wouldn't want to make another suffer the same fate because of him.
"I'll save my notes, maybe if I take a walk I'll have ideas to fix these issues."
After David locked his appartement, he started to walk downstairs and going to the corner store to clear his head, maybe he'd have ideas on his way back.
