Alex sits in a leather chair looking at a globe of the earth as the megamycete moves and reconnects with dormant pieces of itself and then spreading further still while releasing specialized chemicals elements and viruses into the soil and atmosphere that then self replicated at fast speeds quickly modifying the planet.
Alex nods his head at the current progress and then changes to a view of the ocean And how the virus he released is propagating.
' This should get rid of and repair everything that is currently polluting the planet while cataloging everything touched and modifying the genetics of everything over time making proper activation possible.'
'Now let's double check everything else.'
Alex checked on the state of the limiters he placed on the viruses then He looked at the genetic template that he was going to use for his body.

Superhuman adaptation: When the body is subjected to a virus or chemical compound or any other form of stress, it immediately starts adapting to compensate for it and in the case of viruses, this means taking all benefits of the virus while stripping away any and all genetic defects/ weaknesses

' It's the best I can currently do with the material I have but that's fine with what I currently have I'm stronger than the entire planet combined , I can just use adaptation and tortuous training to get stronger or other methods i have time after all or I can just say I'll get stronger using self supremacy to force it , but that's boring and unfilling.'

'That could change the drop of a hat if say , one of those old gods came after me or if I was invaded by some multiversal conqueror anything is possible after all.'
Alex chuckles as he stands up
'I hope it doesn't come to that though I am a pretty sore loser after all so if I have no chance of winning to begin with , I wouldn't mind creating a conceptual virus out of myself just to fuck them over or I don't know to be annoying.'
'But that's enough of that , let's get things done now.'
Alex then stops and stands in place as his heartbeat gets faster and faster and his body starts to glow black and crimson energy with cracks appearing all over his skin with him taking a step forward vanishing.

(Alex Pov)
Alex feels himself inside of the woman that is carrying him and immediately starts hastening his maturation rate and making his body develop according to the genetic template he made.
' This woman Kate Mercer is not my mother , nor is she worthy of it after all I looked through her memories she's a drug addict through-and-through the only reason why she's survived this long and why she is being used in this project is because of her exceptional genetics but I will make sure she survives the process It doesn't cost me anything after all.'
Alex feels his bones, muscles and skin form alongside all his heavily optimized organs then he gets to the really interesting work making his nails longer and sharper He then makes a vertical cut in her stomach and starts pulling himself out.
As he does so, he's hit with the nutrient-dense fluid of the tube their in which he then absorbs though his skin converting it into energy he then uses to expand the length of his Nails breaking the tube open as he fully pulls himself out of Kate's stomach/womb using his hands.
When Alex hits the ground , he's the size of a child he then quickly makes multiple threads of biomass that suck up the nutrient fluid left over and pierce the corpse right next to his tube draining it of biomass.
Alex grows to the height of 6"1 as he then starts to make himself clothes out of his biomass threading it together like cloth.
Starting with black pants then a white t-shirt and a black jacket covered in shifting symbols.
Alex then stops and looks back watching as Kate's stomach starts healing and finishes , not leave a scar behind.
He then nods his head in appreciation of his work while flexing his hands and the rest of his body.
' Huh this feels weird I guess that's what going without a body for so long does to you.'
He then takes a deep breath tasting the air and then he starts fully syncing with the rest of his body hearing the panicked footsteps of the people in the observation room next to the area he's currently in.
He then starts going through the memories of the man he just absorbed while walking towards the observation window Brian Wallace, a 33-year-old man without a family that was obsessed with genetics and eugenics; it was because of his research that he was approached by Spencer for the current project.
But that's where things started to take a wrong turn as when at least from what alex can tell as when he inhabited his current body , he was sort of was bleeding the aura of the abyss into the atmosphere around him because of his damaged soul which made Brian go insane alongside a few of his colleagues who committed suicide because of existential dread/fear.
' Well , then that explains why , in my soul perception, it looked like people were dying or leaving. I couldn't really tell which one , but I know now.'
Alex then stops at the observation window and smiles as he says
"Alexander Ashford I want you to contact your father and Oswald.E spencer Immediately , tell them that project chaos was a success and that it wants to talk to them about the plans for the future."
Alex can hear his heartrate skyrocket and can almost taste the fear Alexander's exuding right now as start reaching towards his left side.
Alex then continues speaking.
"I would recommend you hurry and remember not to press that self destruction button to your left even if it won't work right now as I've cut off its connection with everything else. It would irritate me."
Alex feels Alexander shift in place with his heart rate coming down he starts reaching towards his right side instead
Alex then claps and says.
"That's more like it. We have much to discuss after all and remember to tell your father and Oswald to not worry about contacting Miranda , as I'm already having a conversation with her."
Alex then feels Alexander Ashford start trembling again before stopping himself as he inputs the numbers into the telephone.
'Well then everything's going according to plan and the history lesson with Miranda is also going well. I wonder how things will go in the conversation I'm about to have.'
Alex's eyes glow slightly.
' I hope things go well for their sake. After all , it would suck to kill them all, not when I can use their skills in other ways well that decision is in their own hands. After all, while I could just mentally manipulate them, that just feels kind of cheap and just isn't a good habit to have.'

Well that's the end of this chapter.
And in case you're confused , Alex and his Partition's exist as a whole continuous entity meaning there is no disconnect between them.
Listen, this means that the Alex that is talking to mother Miranda is also experiencing all of this alongside every other mental process he is doing like the training he's undergoing in the mental world.
That's part of the reason why cracks show up in the last chapter; it's because of the stress of doing everything simultaneously.
Even if this is beneficial for him as he can make his mind and soul adapt to it growing stronger.
The main reason why it's so stressful to begin with is because he's experiencing multiple different perceptions of time at once.
Also , give me some names I can use for the kingdom building because I have ideas but I'm pretty shit with names.
