Chapter 108 - Chapter One Hundred and Seven: Echoes of the Heir II

The awakening of Luke had left subtle but unmistakable tremors across every plane. Though he now rested safely in Celestia's womb, the golden threads of his aura reached far beyond the chamber, brushing Heaven, Hell, and the Neutral Realms like sunlight filtering through clouds. Every being attuned to the currents of power—celestial, infernal, or mortal—felt the change, even if faintly.

In the grand halls of Heaven, the Elders sensed a disturbance unlike any before. "Do you feel it?" one asked, voice low and tight. "The air… it hums with energy that predates even the oldest records."

"It is not the child himself," another replied, unease in every word. "It is the blessing. The aura he carries. Something… ancient."

Whispers spread quickly, tension rising among the High Order. Some feared the child's influence could upset the delicate balance of Heaven. Others speculated he might be the very instrument that would restore order after centuries of subtle decay in the realms.

Far below, in the shadowed throne of Hell, Lilith stirred. A faint golden pulse brushed against her essence, unsettling her with its unfamiliar purity. Her eyes narrowed, and instinctively, she called for her most trusted witches and agents.

"A new force rises," she said sharply. "A power that carries the blood of Balance itself. We must discover its full scope before it turns the scales against us. Observe. Report. Prepare contingencies. And do not underestimate it."

Even Lilith could sense only the edges of Luke's energy. He was small, yet immeasurably potent. His aura had the warmth of life and the weight of the Father of All's legacy.

Lucifer, seated in his darkened hall, received word through Beelzebub. "The child has awakened," the demon reported, voice careful. "Even the sword responded. The Architects' blessing rests with him now."

Lucifer's smile was slow, deliberate, and calculating. "Interesting," he murmured. "The heir of Balance moves, and the realms are shifting beneath his presence. Watch him carefully, Beelzebub. Let no one—especially Lilith—interfere. Observe. Let us see whether the child is a tool, a threat… or a force even we cannot control."

Back in the mortal realm, Celestia stirred gently, feeling Luke's tiny heartbeat pulse in rhythm with the golden threads of his energy. Lucien stood nearby, eyes vigilant, sensing the powerful aura radiating from his son. "He is more than just a child," he whispered, awe in his voice. "He is the beginning of something the realms have not seen in millennia."

The unicorn, invisible now to all but Luke, lingered silently in the corners of perception, its silver mane shimmering faintly. "The ripples have begun," it said softly. "The heir's presence will awaken both allies and enemies. Every corner of creation will feel his influence. And the first trials are only the beginning."

Luke's aura pulsed once, a quiet but undeniable signal across all realities: he had returned, he had survived, and he carried the Architects' blessing within him. A new era had begun, and even the most ancient powers—celestial, infernal, and neutral—were beginning to sense that the heir of Balance would not be ignored.

The child, resting in his mother's arms, exuded calm and certainty, though he was yet unaware of the weight upon him. Around him, the golden aura shimmered like dawn breaking across the cosmos, a promise and a warning all at once.

Balance had a champion.

And the echoes of his presence had already begun to stir the cosmos.
