Chapter 125 - A Gift from the Heart.

Lilith finished her classes and quickly got on her bike. She rode as fast as she could toward the mansion, eager to get home.

Meanwhile…

The Venom Syndicate arrived at Lilith's old apartment building, Silver Crest.

"Hello, how can I help you?" Ms. Alfiya asked.

"Hey, we want to know if Lilith is here," Baran said.

"Lilith Mahira Baneva?" Alfiya asked.

"Yes," Ramona replied.

"She went back to her family after reconciling with them."

Kazim frowned.

"Sorry, but didn't she have problems with them?"

"Yes," Alfiya replied. "They live in New York. She lives here with her fiancé now. She left them two years ago."

She continued,

"That man is a beast. He turned Russia itself upside down looking for her before finally finding her. She told him she wouldn't come home with him, so he bought her a room here instead. Every day after work he came here with the little girl."

"Mila?" Yamini asked.

Alfiya nodded.

"Yes. She's adorable. Last month they packed everything and moved to a hidden house. Nobody knows where it is."

The group exchanged glances.

Alfiya's expression turned cold.

"Be warned. Boss doesn't like anyone touching what belongs to him… or Elsa. If you do, your days will be numbered."

Her icy tone made them shiver.

They quietly left.

"But Boss… who is she?" Laetitia asked.

Valen rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Let's deal with this girl."

"Yes, Boss," everyone replied before leaving.

Later that evening…

Nikolai arrived home carrying Mila, who had fallen asleep in his arms.

He gently changed her clothes, kissed her forehead, and tucked her into bed.

When he entered his room, he froze.

A huge bouquet of flowers stood in the middle of the room with a giant decorative letter N made from his favorite flowers.

Beside it was a letter.

Wear this and come down, my love.

Smiling, he took a warm shower before changing into soft orange lounge pants and a milk-colored shirt.

When he stepped outside, he saw Lilith waiting for him.

She was wearing a beautiful green-and-white Anarkali kurti.

He immediately hugged her.

"Thank you," he whispered.

She kissed his forehead.

"Come. Close your eyes, Sweetie."

He pouted.

"Pretty please?" Lilith asked.

He sighed with a smile and closed his eyes.

She took his hand and carefully guided him into another room.

The door opened.

"Now open," she whispered.

Nikolai slowly opened his eyes.

He stood completely frozen.

"Lily…"

His hands trembled.

Before him stood the most luxurious gaming and executive workstation he had ever seen.

Finished in breathtaking dark red and midnight blue, the handcrafted masterpiece combined aerospace-grade aluminum, carbon fiber, polished titanium, exotic hardwood, and flawless engineering. An enormous curved 8K OLED display dominated the center, surrounded by elegant ambient lighting. A custom-built gaming tower with liquid cooling, precision components, hidden cable management, premium workstation hardware, multiple professional displays, enterprise-grade performance, immersive surround sound, luxury peripherals, AI-powered automation, biometric security, encrypted storage, intelligent lighting, smart office integration, and executive functionality transformed the room into the ultimate luxury command center for gaming, business, creativity, and leadership.

His eyes filled with tears.

"Lilith… did you get this?"

She shyly nodded while holding the edge of her veil.

"Come, love."

She led him to the chair and gently sat him down.

"Turn it on."

With shaking hands, he pressed the power button.

The monitor came to life.

On the screen appeared:

Customize Nikolai

He smiled widely as he began exploring.

Then his eyes widened.

"Lily! Look! Galaxy United!"

It was one of the childhood games he had always dreamed of playing.

His face lit up with the biggest grin.

He happily started playing.

After a while, he stood up, bent down to his tiny wife—who stood only 4'6"—and hugged her tightly.

He kissed her again and again.

"Thank you so much… Thank you… Thank you… Thank you… Thank you."

She smiled warmly.

"Come. Let's go."

She took his hand.

Outside…

"Look over there," she whispered.

Everyone watched through the security cameras.

Daira wiped away tears.

"Remember when we went to the store? He wanted all those games, but he called them distractions instead."

Zhanna nodded sadly.

"Yeah… or when that stupid woman burned all of his CDs."

Meghan smiled through her tears.

"Lily is truly a blessing to Brother."

Nikolai noticed a small tent nearby.

Inside sat a large bag overflowing with snacks.

Lilith sat beside him.

He looked at her.

She simply blinked and gave him a tiny nod, silently telling him to go ahead.

He opened a bag of chips.

Crunch.

His eyes sparkled.

For the first time in years, he looked like a carefree little boy.

More tears rolled down his cheeks.

Lilith quietly watched him.

He happily hummed while eating.

With his mouth still full, he offered her a chip.

She opened her mouth.

He gently fed it to her before leaning over and kissing her.

When they finished eating, he cleaned his hands before taking both of Lilith's hands into his own.

"Thank you so very, very, very much, my darling."

He lowered himself and held her feet.

"Hey… hey… stop."

She quickly cupped his face.

He rested his head against her chest.

"H… How did you get all of this?"

She smiled softly.

"The gaming station came from my first salary… and my scholarship money."

He immediately looked up.

"What…?"

"My first salary," she repeated.

"How much… did you get?"

Lilith became quiet.

"Lily…"

She finally answered.

"It was ₽1.1 million… and the whole setup cost ₽1.9 million… so I sold some of my old chains."

Nikolai completely broke down.

"Why would you do that?" he cried.

She gently wiped away his tears.

"My love… I'd do anything just to see you happy. So, baby… I'm happy because you're happy."

He hugged her tightly.

"Marry me again."

She laughed softly.

"Of course I will."

He looked into her eyes.

"Can we get married again?"

She smiled, nodded, and wrapped her arms around him.

He leaned down and kissed her, holding her as though he never wanted to let go.
