Lily came back home. She checked on Mila first. Her baby was sleeping peacefully.
"How is she?" she said.
"Fine. We gave her another medicine. She was crying a lot, and now we gave her something to calm her down," Clara said.
"Thank you so much," Lilith said.
She went upstairs.
Nikolai was cleaning his desk.
"Nikki, why are you cleaning this? You could have waited for me to do it," Lilith said.
"It's fine, Bambi… andddd I have a surprise for you," Nikolai said.
He gently took her hand and led her toward their bedroom.
He covered her eyes.
"Don't peek."
She smiled nervously as he guided her inside.
A few seconds later, he slowly removed his hands.
Her breathing went numb.
She stared at everything in front of her.
It was a surprise.
He had upgraded her laptop.
He had also bought her 2 Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro laptops and an Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch (M4 Max).
She slowly turned to look at him.
"What, baby?" he asked.
"But… why 2?" she asked.
"Back up, my love. Just in case."
He smiled.
"And I found your smartwatch too."
He picked it up.
"Always wear it, baby. It has fitness counted on it to track your health," Nikolai said.
"Not only health."
"There is also a tracker in the watch…"
"…and also in your earrings."
Her eyes immediately filled with tears.
She threw herself into his arms.
He smiled, wrapping his arms tightly around her before kissing her forehead.
"I'm very proud of you, Bambi," Nikolai said.
She kissed him.
He smiled into the kiss.
It was midnight.
Nikolai was asleep.

He heard soft sobbing.
He slowly turned.
His tiny wife was crying while holding a picture.
"What's wrong, baby? Why are you crying?" Nikolai asked.
She silently showed him the picture.
He rubbed his sleepy face.
Then his eyes cleared.
It was a picture of Lily holding baby Mila in her arms.
"It's you and Mil, love," he said softly.
She nodded.
"Mila is turning 3 in next tomorrow, Nikki."
"She's growing too fast."
Lilith cried more and more.
"Oh darling… I know she is…"
"But all babies grow fast," he said gently.
She sniffed her nose.
"Just yesterday she was crawling around fast."
"Everyone was trying to get her."
"Her giggles were louder than ever."
"I fed her milk."
"I rocked her to sleep."
"Everything…"
"And now she's running around…"
"Talking…"
"Being sassy…"
Lilith said.
Nikolai chuckled while holding both of her hands.
"Then she will start going to preschool."
"I'm not ready for that yet."
"I will cry my eyes out."
She cried again.
He burst out laughing before hugging her tightly.
"Mila is a big girl, love."
"And I promise…"
"We'll have more babies."
"She loves you so much."
"You are the best…"
"And the perfect Mama, Lily," Nikolai said.
Lily wiped away her tears.
She curled herself into his arms.
They stayed like that the entire night.
It was morning.
Mila sat eating breakfast while Leonid checked on her.
"Okay, Mimi?" he asked.
"Ywe!" Mila answered happily.
"She's getting better."
"For now she needs more sleep and food," Leonid said.
"Thank you, Leonid."
"Where is Mhaira?" Farhan asked.
"Your sister cried all night."
"Her sobbing woke me up," Nikolai said.
"Why was she crying?" Elena asked.
"Mila is turning 3 tomorrow."
"She said Mil is growing too fast and her baby is big," he replied.
Just then…
Lilith came downstairs.
"Good morning, my baby," she said before kissing her daughter's forehead.
"Good mownin Mama," Mila smiled.
"Your eyes are damn red," Zafraan said.
"She too big," Lilith whispered sadly.
"'Cause they are growing," Lily Addison said.
"I don't wanna her big," Lilith said.
Everyone held back their laughter.
"Why are you laughing?"
"Didn't you cry for 2 weeks when the boys were going to preschool?" Addison asked.
Logan pouted.
"Didn't you see when they said bye-bye?"
"Part of course he cried every time," Logan said.
Everyone burst into laughter.
Meanwhile… New York
Riyana slowly poured water over Sohan's body while he prayed.

Sohan finished his prayer.

They drove toward the airport.

"I caused this."

"She will destroy it all," Sohan said.

Vajrakali sat outside on a rocking chair.

Nikolai was on a call with Surinder.
"How about July on our anniversary?" he asked.

He wrote down notes.

"I am sending some things for her bridesmaids."

Nikolai had been deeply focused on his plans.

Arina picked up one of the papers.
She read it.
Then gasped.
Everyone quickly gathered behind her.
Their eyes widened.
"Brother…"
"You want to do this for her?" Yulian asked.
"Is it much…"
"It's our anniversary…"
"And her birthday."
"I want to remarry her again…" Nikolai said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"Nick…"
"This is absolutely amazing."
"Why didn't you tell us?"
"We could have helped you," Taran (Massimo) said.
Nikolai rubbed his hands nervously.
"This is so cute, Brother!"
"We'll help!" Meghan said.
Nikolai smiled warmly before pulling all of them into a hug.
